I had a similar situation, I had a loose connection. But my headlight was also a little broken. I ended up having to replace the head light and connector. I just pick up both items from the junk yard. You can use these awesome connectors from Amazon to reconnect your new plug. Link here...

Hey guys, my abs never worked ever since I have owned my X a year or two ago. I want to remove the system completely. Has any one done this on a Xterra before? I'm not sure if removing the ABS module will mess up any electronics. Would I need any extra parts? Or can I just bolt the brake lines...

I would start with cutting out all the rust and see if you can rebuild it. mine where rusted similar to the first pic. i just cut it to the lip.

I am wondering if any one has run 35" tall tires on stock suspension. I don't mind cuting the body since it is rusty and i am going to do boatsides.

Has any one done boatsides on a Xterra? Mine has rust issues, so to deal with that i'm doing boatsides. I am looking for inspiration, so if you know of a build thread or picture that would be nice. thanks

I have 235/85/R16 (31"-32") Good Year Wrangler Duratrac tires and they fit no problem. Mind you they have 1/4 tread so not sure how much of a difference they are between brand new.

Hey nice xterra! What size tires are you running? Do you have a suspension lift?

I am making a winch bumper and I'm mounting the winch as high up as I can. To get the most ground clearance as I can. To do that I have to cut a lot of the grill out. Has any one done this or made there own grill? I'm looking for inspiration.

When I give it full throttle to accelerate it seems like it doesn't want to shift up, it revs up but doesn't shift. When I give it 1/2 to 3/4's throttle it shifts and accelerates fine. Whats wrong? Thanks

I want to extend my rear bumper to the sides, and to do that i would have to trim the rear corners. Similar to the 'cut and fold' mod xj"s do. Has any one done this before? Pictures?

Hey! I did try sanding and repainting the one headlight just to test it out. But I didn't let the paint thinner evaporate completely, so now there are runs in the clear coat. Also the the headlight housing is broken so the bulb doesn't get a proper connection. I replaced the connector once, but...
