It's actually the boot that is under the decorative boot. The one that connect directly to the top of the transmission.

Trans boot that covers shifter opening in top of transmission is falling apart and needs to be replaced. Looking for advice on replacing. Top of stick appears too wide for hole and bottom of shifter has the big ball at the end. Any advice would be appreciated. Racer Xterra
