    Rivian gaining ground

I get it, most including myself hate that front end, so dorky, but I'm already contacting Hefty and Shrock about aftermarket front armor, see my post #5, that would be totally OK, if the design won't interfere w the electronics. In the mean time might dark-tint those oval LED parts of the...

    Rivian gaining ground

Like I said, just a render. I do like the bumper render, covers up those ugly lights in a way.

    Rivian gaining ground

This is true, but I'm looking forward to a year or so from now. Rivian IPO is rolling out tomorrow. Things are changing fast on EVs and hopefully charging infrastructure will follow as fast, I'm talking about Level 3 chargers. Believe me, I'm keeping an eye on trail head chargers or nearby. My...

    Rivian gaining ground

I get it, that front end looks so derpy, but.......when I saw this, I'm sure someone will come up with armor, first thing I will cover those lights, that front looks much better (pardon the diff showing underneath, lol, just a render of the R1S :D ). I think the rest of the truck looks good as-is.

    Rivian gaining ground

Hey all, at this point seeing Nissan bringing out nicer products - Frontier, Titan - but of course still no serious SUV, I'm very very interested in Rivian and the future of EV off-roading. Even though it was a PR stunt, they took the R1T on the Trans America Trail (TAT) across the US with...

    Next Step Upgrade??

OK guys here's where I'm at, been wheeling over 5 times in various trails and difficulties and most issues are high-center hung-ups on boulders. Just needed few more inches of clearance. I'm on 33"s and PRG Advanced kit with addt'l .75" spacer, so about 3" total front and rear (adjustable...

    Trailer Options

I'm looking for a smaller setup but has to have dual axles, 20ft or shorter, less than 4000 dry weight. Anybody has a Winnebago Micro, Lance, RPod, etc. with suggestions and comments? My 2nd Gen Off-Road is 3" lifted with standard Class III hitch. Main concerns are towing capability, sway...

Long term on 35's review, what do you think?

So, with 35"s is the steering rack the weakest link then? Any upgrade options?

Long term on 35's review, what do you think?

So is the consensus for 35”s require a TS? I know gearing is a must, is 4:10 enough for most crawling or 4:56s? Contemplating....

    Roofrack limits and my conundrum

I’ll sub this thread, seen more and more RTTs out there but man I’m against all that weight up there, just kills the handling, clearance, etc. So, until they come up with featherweight RTTs, I’m really shopping for a small trailer and while doing so, the wife also wants a built-in shower inside...

    Back in a Nissan

Nice to see the Nissan 'family tree' and that HB! Welcome back. Have you considered the Hefty alum front bumper, since you're close to Chris anyway? I've had mine and winched with it no issues. I like to stay with softest springs possible up front for a bit more flex, and this bumper with a Warn...

    Opinions/Ideas on Exhausts?

Heck I’ll even take a 1 mpg improvement but yep realize that those heavier upgrades are not helping much. I’m on 33”s skids front alum and rear steel bumpers, only averaging 13-14 mpg :/ So hoping the reduction in back pressure helps some.

What have you done for your X?

Magnaflow 12580 installed, nice deep sounding, good so far, just a bit louder than I like when jumping on the throttle at 3k but almost quiet at fwy cruise, fits perfectly replacing that choking y-pipe.

    Opinions/Ideas on Exhausts?

Craig, with this setup any noticeable improvement in gas mileage, removing that restrictive y-pipe?

    Members running 35" tires

Thanks! Good point, and yes I’ve used my Warn once already, such a valuable tool, good insurance esp. when wheeling solo.

    Members running 35" tires

Good thread, a possible goal of mine. Should the minimum gearing be 4:10 and with the added weights front locker required?

    Is it a real Off-Road?

Besides the locker, the Off Road models have the special hounds tooth cloth over the seats, mine seems tougher than the non-OR. Later P4X came with leather also with the Pro-4X logo.
