    TerryD's 2007 Xterra S "Pepper"

Got the Raybestos rotors and rear pads installed this week. So far I like them. Can't notice a ton of change but the first time I stop on the interstate we'll see.

Ahhh.. Alcans hold some resale value. Xterras have been out of production for 6 years now so options are just gonna decrease IMO.

Sunny here for now. Supposed to get miserable later. Had a heck of a thunderstorm last night.

    Low rear when towing

I love my Alcans. A little lift won't hurt either. These things run extremely close to the bump stops at factory ride height. A little extra room in there is nice to have. And a 1" lift spacer is totally acceptable to level the front back out. Also look into the full Old Man Emu suspension...

What have you done for your X?

By the time I posted this it had been back together nearly an hour and test driven. No more wobble wobble in the brake pedal.

New front rotors today. New rears are in the shop with some Raybestos EHT pads to go with them. Might try and put that all on tomorrow. I've put about 65k miles on these rotors but they had warped in the last 5k. Dunno if they are original, kinda doubt it being a female owned vehicle from...

Take an old one to NAPA and have them get them for you. They have a great selection.

I didn't have to. My Dad had been a GM Master Tech and ASE Certified plus built engines, transmissions and axles for local drag racers and hot rodders. I could do the Auto Mechanics student's homework.... But most of my experience growing up was tractors and trucks around the farm. He bought...

TGPWS 7: New Year. See if we can wash the stink off.

I did a lot of farm maintenance. My Dad filled my head full of drag car stuff but didn't spend much time helping me build that stuff. Got into rock crawling with a fellow gear head in college and been headed down this road since then. We were always working on stuff but it just wasn't as much...

Yeah. The Blonde is getting a crash course in Kawasaki, as am I. I'm hoping she appreciates it later in life after the "preteen" and "teen" stages are over. The little one seems the most willing to help but I can't imagine that'll last much longer. The oldest is very EMO right now. But she...

I like my kids being involved hence the new quad obsession. And with 3 kids, that's a minimum 4 machines.
