Tried looking it up online but has no procedure listed. I can try and help if you have a pic. - I don't own a 1st gen and haven't worked on one in a while so others may be better sources than I.

I will try to send the picture but I'm having a hard time trying to put the picture on this site? Any suggestions or if I have an email it might be easier to put the picture on here idk?

I'm pretty sure I have done this. Are you talking about the switch that turns the lights on and off? And are you sure the switch is bad? There should be a little rubber stobber in the brake pedal arm that activates the switch. Is it there?
