On the fence about getting a remote starter for the taco. Want one but on the other hand instead of paying 300 I can walk outside for 30 seconds and start it when it's cold.

Went through my hundreds of DVDs in boxes today. Kept a few gems. shiat you can't get anymore. All of The Simpson's, Futurama, all the Star Wars (yes including the un-specialized original trilogy), some others. The rest are going away. Kind of sad. Spent YEARS collecting movies.

Also found a box with a bunch of old pictures. Like 2002 and prior. Selected 20 or so to scan and put on the cloud. Threw a lot away. I wasted a BUNCH of film in/after HS. Once I digitize them I'll share some of the gems. They're good.

I was helping clean out my parent's storage unit about 6 years ago, and found all three original trilogy movies in their original cassette boxes. I squirrelled them away into my collection, and now they are part of our movie room decor. We have these little alcoves above our windows, and they are displayed nicely inside.

Jesus. Been off since Wed. It feels like I time traveled to Sunday. Wtf.

I feel the same way on the last day of a vacation or long weekend. Which is funny because I've been off since Wednesday too. The funny thing is yesterday, I got up, made my coffee, smoked some bacon, and made a big Sunday breakfast for the family, as usual, and told my wife I was thrown off because it felt like Sunday. And here we are on real Sunday, and I'm drinking my coffee and eating oatmeal for breakfast.

I had Thursday off and it seems like the weekend has flown by.

The wife worked last night and the middle girl doesn't eat real "food" so I'm out to breakfast with the oldest and youngest minions.

We've got most of the things I wanted to do this weekend finished so today is mostly relaxing. Maybe fire the generator this evening so I know we're ready for winter. Need to pull the batteries out of the quads too. Always a dozen things on the to do list.

Yeah, the last thing we really needed get done was put up Christmas decorations. Well, we got the outside decorations up yesterday. I have a feeling that my wife and kids will be messing with the tree all day today. That homework that was supposed to get done on Wednesday will wait until after dinner again, and the kids were be up to 11:30 finishing it as usual.

But whatever... I think it's more important for our kids to enjoy the traditions that our family has than finish a math assignment.

I took the RTT and awning off this morning.

Now have to go dig Christmas stuff out. I’m looking forward to the Ravens game tonight but will probably fall asleep by halftime.
