If this happened closer to town, and the entire family wasn't in the car when it happened, I would've called. Too many things to deal with at 3pm on a Sunday in the middle of nowhere. $5500 for an engine with under 30K on it delivered from GP to Longview, another 3K for dealer labor.

It sucks but we're able to handle it. But it sucks less than the $15000 they wanted for a crate engine installed.

It hasn't been that bad. It happened during our trip to Destrehan Plantation, just outside Nawlins the weekend of the 13th. The whole weekend sucked, this was just the fecal flavored icing on top. We got lucky that we were traveling with friends and the one ahead of us looped back around to take me to a rental place in Longview so we could get home.

Things to be thankful for:
1) Traveling with friends
2) Rental place open until 5pm on a Sunday in the middle of nowhere
3) Liquidity to deal with this
4) Shops that are not trying to screw us over (well, dealer prices...)
5) Finding a relatively good shape VQ35 close by.

I've been buying stuff from Pepper's for 20+ year's . They have an outlet store in Del and the Hearn family also had/has [not sure , been awhile] the Starboard rest/bar in Dewey beach [ the one with the BIG A$$ SHARK's head on the front gable ] unlimited bloody Mary morning's ; It was too much fun .

Just go on line and see the stuff the have to offer . I've never been disappointed !!

Graphics are not as good. And exclusive titles are better on the Playstation.

You are allowed to be wrong. The graphics are close enough its hard to tell. Both have some good exclusive titles. I have the controller in my hand every game I play (except Rocksmith) So having a more sturdy built, better layout controller is much more important.
