I've been looking more seriously at a Benchmade Bugout. I'm torn between the blue/stonewash and the olive/black combos.... and the fact my wife might use it to cut me, cause I have two more SAKs on the way for my daughters.

Lol. Also considering a bugout. Anyways. Here is the updated layout of my knife storage chest. ,i going to go pick up some foam floor tiles ( the kind you put in kids toy rooms) to make foam cut-outs. If I organise this way as you can see I can order some more.

I always shipped those type things to work when I had an ole lady. Plus I took care of the books so there was that advantage too.
It's a disease....
I'm dealing with my firearms now due to that same disease. Being an instructor and industry insider on top of running Cabela's Gun Library for ~5yrs, I couldn't help myself with the guns that would come in on trade or outright sold to us and would've been the "Crazy Redneck on the corner" if anyone in the wrong crowd saw "the stash"..

Well, the Bugout will be waiting a while. Just nabbed a Super Freek for a pretty good deal from FB. Been after one of those for a bit. I like my Freek so this will be a nice pair.

How do you like the Bugout?
It’s a bit slimmer then unthought it would be. As well it’s super light from the scales. I was s’more excited to get the spyderco honestly. I’ve been wanting the smock since they came out. I will be putting the Benchmade through its paces at work over the next few days to see how I like it.

Haha, you carry that 3lb folder daily, right?
Why yes I do  I carry it in the back of Odo "everyday" in case I run across a dead tree and get the urge to make a Totem Pole . That knife is why you don't watch Crocodile Dundee then go to the local flea mrkt . But I can say it hold's an edge , the blade is tight/no side wobble and it only cost me $15 about 6 year's ago and the real bonus is if I ever get into a dagger or small sword fight I'm covered :p

I really like this little knife. I got the folding version first and really liked the shape and size. When I found out they made the fixed version of it, I had to have it too.
