I guess that would make sense. I didn't have a choice but to put at least some air back in the tires - should I have wrapped the gauge end in a rag or towel before using it with temps that low?

I guess now I could probably just keep the hose with the bad gauge as my "winter" hose and use the new one in the other three seasons.
Wrapping it isn't gonna help. Moisture gets inside the gauge from the air. Especially if your compressor is inside the vehicle. Creates warm air. Warm air hits cold hose, condensate. I don't know if there's a different mechanism inside, but I've never had a digital gauge freeze.

Also, leave the gauge in the front of the truck after you use it so the heat helps dry it out. And bring it inside after wheeling.

I want one for a fitness tracker. I would just use my phone but it tracks my trips through the mill with the golf cart as steps. I'm not sure if a watch like this would do the same?

Depends how bumpy the golf cart trip is. I’ve seen it where each bump counted as either a step or climbing up stairs. But mostly even driving my step count stays the same

I have a Fitbit and usually ride my Indian from Virginia to Ohio once a year going to visit family. It logged me having 75,000 steps the last time I rode up LOL. General riding around day to day in my work van doesnt put much if anything on it though

Plumbing done. Water back on all the house except the master bath and ice maker.

We've needed a pressure regulator and expansion tank for a while now and I finally got around to getting it installed. Maybe now the water heater will quit constantly dripping from the PTR valve.

Also got another quote for our wall repair. A little more palatable number. Probably going with him, just gotta verify specs on the windows and go pick up our front door.

I've been wheeling an r180 for years now. And I'm not easy on it. No issues. That said, the 205 is in the garage. There's certainly an advantage to upgrading.

I personally wouldn't lock it. Axles seem to snap at the drop of a hat when locked. And those pathy axles aren't cheap

It has a lot more to do with the driver than the diff. Been running an open R180 since I bought it new in 2011... granted I'm running 4.10's but that didn't change the parts that break. Much like @Prime I have a 3 rib M205 in the garage waiting for gears. FWIW I've never seen anyone get up something with the front locked, that I haven't done with it open.

So does that mean if i upgrade to a 205 I should leave the 180 in the garage? lol..seriously though most obsticles are always tried with no locker but having that option is not a bad thing

Meh. I've wheeled with too many folks that are locked front and rear. It's more about the driver and spotter. Like I said, I've done the same shiat. Matter of fact, I've gotten up things the locked guys have gotten stuck on.

Sure, there are those moments when it is absolutely needed... My man card doesn't need that obstacle, I just go around.

This.

I know what my capabilities and the capabilities of the truck are. And i know what is a reasonable departure from that. If I see something that I can't do, I won't do it.

If the Toll and ADMIN fee's were reversed It wouldn't bother me as much , but am I funding a Toll Collector's [ who's not even there] 401k ? Apparently the state of Va is trying to make any main transportation artery a toll road i-95 , the beltway and they are really bending you over a barrel:confused::eek: if you don't put an E-Z pass transponder in your vehicle. I wish a computer nerd would hack that E-Z pass system [ hint-hint ] and bill all the vehicles passing thru Va TO IT'S Governor/Mayor/ Sec of state and everyone else with a high dollar title and NO COMMEN SENSE !! 20210124_082010.jpg

Well I just went online and pd my toll and I'll be the first to say I made the mistake of getting on the express lane when I saw the road # and didn't pay attn to the express ln's. That being said It gave me $1 off for paying online  But I think I should get half the admin fee's back since I just administered the payment to their account , fair is fair right ?? Lol :D
