They don't have me on insulin. Trying to find something that works before going that route.

I have had good luck with banaba, gymnema and alpha lipoic acid. They were recommended to me by several other diabetics when I started my diabetes 'adventure', and I could see the results on my meter. I credit them with keeping me off insulin for the last 10 years.
Best advice I learned was balancing my carbs with protiens. Carbs are str8 up sugar unless they get converted into usable energy and muscle by eating your carbs along with sizeable protien. Not only do you get fuller quicker your body can use most of it. If you're not overloading your system with carbs the sugars will stay lower. (A1C) That's a few month average count so it means you've been slowly pickling the kidney/liver.. Balance~

Edit.. They say alcohol makes your sugar levels higher but in my experience it always made my sugars low so I learned to always eat while drinking..

Anyone near the Denver area that would be interested in renting me a parking spot for my 1 ton Chevy project? ..it does run.. or maybe a lead on an affordable storage facility..

I'm about to have it towed to a storage lot for a few months probably. I thought I'd be able to work on it in my spare time but finishing up 2yrs of chemo a week before last and still putting in 50+hrs/wk leaves me with no energy or strength to tackle getting it street/smog legal anytime right away. It's at my work but just found out I need to get it off the property asap for inspections/construction, etc. My wonderful HOA will have it towed in 24hrs from my place if it's not current on plates/reg and it has niether. I'd hate to get rid of it but it looks like I may have to eat the few hundred to tow, store and sell it.

ah hell NO!!!. That thing belongs in a Big city, so they can fake being in the Woods with real dirt & Mean Bears & Cougars.

It is stupid. I always get a kick out of the current TV ads (think they are for the Qashqui) that starts on this road backed up by traffic. And then they go into the whole speel of being able to leave the pavement behind. And promptly drive onto a nicely-groomed gravel road that I could ride a little red wagon on just fine, nevermind a real vehicle like my X...

I also like how stupid it is with the slide-out office part. I mean, just leave the desk, computer, etc fixed in the back, and use the space that would have been taken up by the motors and supports to slide it out for something useful like storage. Sliding out doesn't really buy you anything vs just opening the back door, other than a bunch of space inside the vehicle that wouldn't be all that useful anyway (you going to leave your computer out in the elements while you sleep on the floor????). Throw a canvas tent that can drop off the rear hatch for a sleeping area, and it would be much more practical.

I mean, while I mostly agree with this, I have brought my laptop on camping trips for hobby-related reasons, like managing photo and video that I've taken from the day. Having a full workstation available might make it handy to be able to do a quick look-through of the footage, and maybe get a start on some of the editing, so I don't have piles of it when I get home. But doing work? Not a chance. But this also involves having self-control, and a boss that understands that vacation is vacation.

That being said, still wouldn't buy this. If I pulled the whole "convert an ambulance to a camper", I might find space to bring a full computer. Might. But it would be a small thing, and I would have to have space for everything else first.

After the ride at about 20° F the day after Christmas, my gauge on my Viair 300p was reading way high while filling (it usually shows about 5psi high u til you turn it off to check actual), and on our last ride I realized airing back up that the needle wasn't dropping back to 0, and the reading was off.

I contacted Viair via a contact form on their site, they emailed me the next day to ask for a screenshot of the Amazon order, and four days later I got a UPS box with a new hose assembly (includes the gauge). Stellar response for an issue. 5/5 stars for customer service.

Gauge froze from condensation. Make sure to bring it inside.

I guess that would make sense. I didn't have a choice but to put at least some air back in the tires - should I have wrapped the gauge end in a rag or towel before using it with temps that low?

I guess now I could probably just keep the hose with the bad gauge as my "winter" hose and use the new one in the other three seasons.

My wife bought me a very nice watch for an anniversary gift several years ago. Wore it for a bit, but kept breaking out due to the band.

The battery of my Garmin vivo active 3 reallly took a shiat kicking in the desert heat. It will only hold a charge for 48 hours vs the week it held before I left.

just waiting for my new garmin instinct tactic to show up. Battery should last for a month on there with the solar charging before I would need to do anything
