Good day all. Haven't had a dorp of alcohol since Christmas weekend. Trying to find a place to live i would like to be out of here by the end of next week. The boy is waiting to live with me but he can't because I won't have anyone to watch him at night while I'm at work. The wife and I are trying to work out agreements for the devorce trying to keep lawyers and courts out of it as much as possible. So far she has not asked for any support we will see how that works out but then again she makes almost $20k more than I do, So I don't know. The shiaty thing is im going to have to start almost completely over because I don't have any furniture besides a recliner.

Thats not shiatty at all. Trust me. You can find everything you need out there used, cheap. Hell if you were close id give you a buncha shiat. When i started over i bought used shiat off CL and FB Marketplace and got set up pretty quickly. (i did have to buy a new mattress which is ufcking spendy, but i bought the bed off CL and refinished it myself) you'd be surprised how many friends have something they can donate too. Later, you can upgrade it to whatever you really want.

Need Bigger Tires
For mattress, the wife and I started with a fairly expensive one, was nice for a while until the springs started to wear out. What we do now is just buy cheap Ikea mattresses, and throw a 3" memory foam topper on them. Just as good as our fancy one, but way cheaper to replace as the topper stays fine, so we just need to get another mattress from Ikea. We have it in a mattress cover, which keeps them nicer for longer.

Also, get all agreements in writing with signatures. That way, if things get worse between you in the future (hopefully not), it gives you more power in court. And try to avoid getting the kids involved in any way, the disagreements are between you and your wife. Yes, they kids are going to be affected, but it makes it worse if they get caught up in the fighting. Leaving on "good" terms with everyone works way better in the long run than going out guns blazing.

Things will come together much quicker than you think. Keep it up man. You'll be just fine.

Second.... Most of my house is furnished with second hand furniture. New mattress is probably the way to go, though.

This go new with a mattress. Just a FYI about 4 years ago I got a King size Zinus memory foam mattress from Sams Club for less then $600. Was by far the most comfortable mattress I have ever had. Unfortunately my Wife didnt feel the same way and know we are on a much more expensive Queen size sleep number.

Don't feel bad I'm adulting also. Recovering from Covid watching the World Juniors hockey tournament and drinking Beale's Gold lager.
Have you been to the original tap room in Bedford? The Spiced Apple Ale is delicious but seasonal.... The BBQ ain't bad either.

I used to be big into RC's. HPI is a pretty good company and makes fast trucks. I had nitro Team Associated SC8's. They would do 40-50mph depending on how you had the fuel mix set. Have fun man those things are a blast

This thing is a battery pack. And need to get a video of how fast this thing actually is. Once I have it dialed in a bit

Most of them are now. They are usually just as fast as the nitro but like e cars a lot quicker out of the gate. I personally liked the more work it took to run the nitro, the smell, and sound
