On the way home from getting a cavity drilled/filled today [ THEY FOUND IT LAST FRIDAY ] I stopped by the ole lady's mom's house to drop off a new garbage can with wheel's , she's 81; I happened to encounter this rather large puddle in the street. All I can say is I'm sure glad I did the rear breather extension a month or two ago , the weather channel said in one small area around there they got 4.1 inch's of rain in 1.5-2 hour's so this was where it had gathered . I had a little bit of water come in under the rear passenger door but everywhere else was dry. As soon as I herd the exhaust pipe go under water and sound like it was fartin I only said one word [ $HIT ] When the ole lady got home I explained how if I had 285's or 255/85/r16's instead of 265/75's no water would have come in ! She didn't say a thing . When I mentioned about getting a snorkel she said there is one in the basement on the side of a Scu20200910_125631.jpg ba mask ? I had NO COMMENT  Sure wish I could send some of this out to the west coast ;)

You completely missed the point.

That Morgan has no competitors, absolutely none..... it's a one of a kind vehicle. More importantly, they aren't even trying. Hell, Morgan's history alone is worth more.

When Can-Am makes anything at all by hand, one at a time, completely customized to each individual customers choices, you let me know. Then we'll have a conversation about price.

Until then.... Morgan FTW!

To each his own. You may say it has no comps but people who ride and are looking for 3 wheelers do and most who ride more then one think that thing is the worst of the bunch. It is nothing but a cool looking machine. Hell they don't even make the motor, thats a S&S on the front of that thing. If I had more money the sense I would have one, they are cool, however as a motorcycle rider when I get to the need a 3 wheelers age I would get something a hell of a lot more functional then a Morgan and so would most people

I'd be afraid of anything I could catch in that water , except the one neighbor's 27 year old daughter. That would be a trophy mount;);););););)figuratively and literately:D

I've seriously been looking on and off all day for this video of an old man doing donuts in his Morgan in the back lawn for shiats and giggles. I can freaking find it.

people who ride and are looking for 3 wheelers do and most who ride more then one think that thing is the worst of the bunch.

Then they are confused by the simple fact that is has three wheels..... It's a car, not a motorcycle..... Morgan makes cars. The Morgan you sit IN, a motorcycle you sit ON.

And I have absolutely no doubt that if you compare that Morgan to anything else that has three wheels and a motor, the Morgan will come dead last for performance. It's about the Art and the Craftsmanship.

If you wanted a Morgan to go fast, you needed to buy the Aero8 which drove nearly as well as the Corvette for the same years it was produced.

Hell they don't even make the motor

They are a coach builder, not a motor manufacturer.... A leftover from a bygone era, who have managed to survive.

So... I have that snapped leaf spring I've gotta deal with and decided I would entertain the idea of some high $$$ Alcans. After cleaning out the truck in prep to have it weighed and measurements taken I decided I'd look into some reviews.

1 out of 3 people it seems are unhappy with Alcans customer service and the springs they received. A bunch of reviews stating Bill, the newest owner, doesn't like to admit when he's wrong or product is incorrect and only a few people state he made the errors right.

I think I may save $2-300 and get some OMEs..

What are y'alls experiences?

I've heard bad things about OME leafs. Was under the truck today fixing the diff leak I picked up a few weeks ago. My leafs are ufcked. But not doing anything until Titan axle is ready to go in.

You want to be the guinea pig for these?

The company is new but seems to be gaining traction and is getting good customer service reviews, but they don't have much for reviews on products.
I have heard nothing but great things about this company. Curious how these leaf packs will be received by the community.

The high performance leaf packs linked are about what I paid for my Alcans a few months ago (+600# & 2" lift).

I was hesitant to go +600# on the alcans, but considering I do some intermittent light towing I decided to give it a shot after doing some research. At the time I also had a Maxgear rear bumper/tire swing out/gas can holder on order. Just received the bumper this week so I'm curious how it's going to feel once installed. Without that added bumper weight, it is a little stiff but nothing that bothers me.

Does anybody know of a good option (other than Alcan) for heavier duty leafs on a first gen? With the weight of the rear bumper and all my gear back there , Gamora's got some serious squat. If there are no other good options, I may just go with the 3 leaf add-a-leaf from AC.

I didn't think of them.. I'm actually running their front coils at 2" lift and also have their rear ubolt flip. Both have been good so far but only a few thousand miles on them with light wheeling..
Alcan is local-ish though. Something to consider.

Daughter#1 got to play varsity today and they actually won a game. The team seemed to have more enthusiastic about playing with the senior riding the pine. The on senor spends more of her time trying to stay out of people's way than partisapating in the game.

I really like my Alcans for capacity and ride. However all my rear lift is done with them and with the short factory shackles, it limits my rear travel.

I've considered a new set with only 1" of lift and use shackles for the rest to gain that extra travel that i don't have right now. My local buddies with OME springs and long shackles have a lot more rear travel than I do.

My Timbren rear bump stops also limit some up travel. I still need to cut down the mounts on them to get a little more.
