I've been trying to find sliders used, and no luck so far. Prefer White Knuckle Offroad, but also would be good with Shrockworks or Dave/Maxterra.

I'm in Virginia but would travel within a state or two, or would pay shipping. No body lift, upward angle.

Assuming you are on a bit of a budget, you can get WKO style sliders built pretty cheap by anyone that has a pipe bender and knows how to weld, thats how I got mine done. There are plans floating around on the internet (used to be found on that other unnamed site before it went downhill....), I might be able to see if I have a copy of them still.

I certainly wouldn't mind supporting a local fabricator. They don't even have to be a direct copy as long as they accomplish the same thing.

Test fitting on the X, its the only picture I have available of them. I had them add the traction plating at the top as well, it isn't in the pattern. Total cost was $450 CAD, not painted or mounted. Went with a bolt-on option, might be quicker and cheaper if you want weld-on as far as fabricating time goes as they don't have to worry about lining up the bolt holes, and might not need as much for the connecting support plates.

Did you look at" Hardcore offroad" slider's , I just ordered a set since he said he'd have them done by the time my bumper get's back from powder coating. I'll paint them myself .

I didn't because I've seen people complain about them not being symmetrical or not quite lining up. Plus I don't want the "step" they have pictured, and I'd want mine angling up instead of out.

I'm with you on painting yourself. My Gobi rack powder coating chips right off like it's nothing. Just trail rub from Peter's Mill Run puts chips in it. I have touch-up paint and I've had to do it now after three trips, and have only added one scratch in my actual paint.

I've read good and bad on just about every fabricator so who know's ? I went with their's because I want one's that stick straight out after seeing some people getting their vehicle in a spot where it's almost against a rock/stump/something and had their slider's stuck out a few inch's more they wouldn't have pushed their door panel's in:cool: As for paint these will get POR-15 because I don't know of anything harder !!

Do they sell somewhere roadside or only to restaurants? I've not sat down for a crab feast yet this year.

Sell's live or steamed on his property and some overflow to the restaurant across the street. I've only eaten hard crab's once this summer but I've chowed down some soft crab's . I normally don't eat steamed crab's till fall when they fatten up before burying in the mud for the winter .
