So far out of pocket im only at 1300.....

Keep in mind with that number its with all the parts I sold.

So In reality my spread sheet says 2800. Ill be posting that up once the build is complete. It has total amounts

Awesome! That would be a huge help. Thanks man!

Pulled the compressor out tonight. Hooked up the solenoids and decided to bench test it.

Trying to figure out mounting this damn compressor. This idea came to mind.

Got her all set up for the next phase removal of the 3rd member. If it wasn't so hot and humid she would have been apart tonight

So after lots of baning over the past weekend and into Monday we got that damn 3rd member out!

Man that was A PITA!

It took a Bosch electric hammer, a screwdriver, 3 wedges, and a BFH to get the sucker undone. Never been open since the factory floor.

Little update.

We are still waiting for the 3rd member to return from the shop. Hopefully this week so she'll be back on all 4 wheels again.

Found a deal on a ruggid rocks transmission cross member. Prob the last of its kind!

Also got my flat pitman arm. Just the issue of getting that bolt off remains

I'm hoping to have her roqd worthy and registered by mid Oct.

Next is my front driveshaft bump stops and finally some trimming

Well as I was mounting my compressor and routing wires. I pulled apart my dash and realized how horrible my wiring was.....

So I tore into the interior.

So far I ripped out 3 dead cb antenna wires. And a box full of dead or horrible wiring

Interior is cleaned and back together. Complete with ARB switches.

I ended up putting a jumper in. The way ARB wires their harnesses makes it so the front locker will not activate until you lock the rear. I know I may never need it but I wanted to have the ability to lock them independently.

Alright so we pulled her out for some overdue maintenance before ECXC. Found out why my steering has been so sloppy!

Got that all fixed up... guess thats what happens when you try and ream somthing with a steeper bit from HF......
Her fresh oil change in 3 years..... (dont judge me I only had 1000 miles on that oil change....)

Slowly dialing in the brake issue. I found the adjustment bolt on the petal. That was a sight to see for my neighbors. I was inverted in the driver seat. Slowly getting better but the breaks are still soft as can be.

I was told the Drums require 10psi at all times since the ABS module was removed. So I got this on the way to see if I can fix it more.

Lets see if I can get the brakes to lock up

Even with the 10Lb Wilwood Residual pressure valve I still cant seem to get confident stopping power for everyday road use. May be time to start from scratch and go a different route. Oh well. Thats after we go bash her against some rocks. ECXC here we come 20230709_143956.jpg

Thats weird that they still wont lock up. I have the same dodge mc in mine and my brakes work great. I have different diffs though. ford dana 44 and 9" with their stock bakes. Is the front and back that arnt working or just the rear?

From under, I can hear the rears activating, but when it comes to actually stopping I have to basically put the peddle to the floor. IT firms up before starting the truck. The min the truck is running i have about an inch of stopping power at the peddle it feels like
