Next on the to do list was the Noco Jump Starter. Got the hardwired cable accessory and a switched usb power cord as well to tie the connector to my 4ga fuse block under the front passenger seat. If I do something stupid now, like fall asleep with the radio on (twice) no need to open the hood. Stored on trips under passenger seat ready to go. Fully isolated when not in use and can be put on charge an the push of a button FFE618E2-E6E0-42E4-BADC-D580AC37535F.jpeg61E62306-C5EA-4DB1-BCFF-EA6BB4F03A16.jpeg0BCBEC7B-F9C0-422B-A738-300CF7BD115A.jpegC5B2A264-22FC-4E29-9ACE-AE7D5F2AA3D0.jpeg9C65111A-2631-45B9-AF75-3CF030E17FA6.jpeg

Hefty Tube bumper painted and installed along with the winch. Need to cut the grill and figure out how to mount the control box. Today the M226 gets cleaned up/painted and PRG diff cover installed. Then tackle the HIDprojector headlights.

Titan swap will start on the 13th.

So where do you plan on mounting the mower? Spare tire location?

I know it’s not a Dephep but for $60 it works for me for now. Wanted something to carry some extra camping gear on top when I hit the George Washington Nat’l Forest near Rawley Springs the week after next for a solo trip.

The rack is a recycled materials half pallet 24” x 32” from Graingers. The mounts are my 2” tube clamps that I had bored out to 2 1/8” to use for my hi-lift jack. Found 2.2” tube clamps on eBay for the hi-lift that fit better and much stronger. I feel better with the larger ones now for the jack. Safety with that thing on the roof is a must. All the more $ for when I order armor for the spring.

Pretty dang creative dude. Not a bad idea for a temp situation too. Maybe it's just me but hard to see how the palet mounts to the clamps. But cool none the less.

Well that saves me from bothering to try. I was thinking about doing this too, surprised to hear it actually got worse.
Yeah. My friends and had been talking about it. I decided to be the Guinea pig. We were shocker the bump steer was so terrible.

I went from slight toe in while on the ground to 7" toe out with wheels off the ground

I see where the almost running off the road comes from, that's crazy. Never would have guessed that would be the result of a slight angle change. I don't get why the rack allows itself to be pushed all over the place like it does, almost seems like it needs more pressure at lower speed than what Nissan set it to.

I actually drove mine today. Had to jump it with the Pathy. That AGM battery in the Pathy is awesome. Didn't even have to start it for the jump to work.

It was good to get it up to temperature. Hasnt moved in 3 months because covid.

Just had a great experience getting an alignment for the 14 p4x. This place has been here since the late 40s its called Stan's in Aurora,!st off they sell SPC UCAs so when I brought the spec sheet in, he laughed and said they got it. Next he asked me what I wanted it to do and I explained the brutal alignment, No problem let me test drive it and get it on the rack and Ill let you know where it sits now.I got the call we talked about it and an hour later I was picking it up. Not the cheapest alignment but when they tell you to go have fun with it you know you found A great shop..drive home it felt much better.. now to find a trail Cheers all

Just upgraded the inline breaker I originally had installed for my power inverter under the front passenger seat. Since I added my Noco jumpstart under there too, I went with a Blue Sea marine switch. Everything is isolated and properly rated now. No blowing fuses (any more).

Then..... found what I think may be a little gem of an audio upgrade. For only $40+tax got a Skar Audio IX-8 dual voice coil 2ohm sub to replace my aged Coustic 8”. Upgraded wiring and had to boost the rear seat pads to get clearance for the sub surround (scrap aluminum billets bolted to the factory pad locations and Home Depot rubber foot pads). This thing is intense and not even broken in yet. I now have to seal the box better at the floor. This thing may even be worthy of upgrading the factory sub in the factory box if it fits inside. Power and impedance ratings are very close.

And finally.... felt it was tome to protect my front seats. That notorious spot on the driver’s seat is starting to show a few frayed fibers. Sooo... Coverking Tactical in black and there it is. Needs stretching and forming but liking it so far. Now what do I put in all the molle pouches? And how to lay them out?

Next........?

Bad thing about the coverKing seat covers. they Will fade!. to a Off Grey color.. Mine were jet black, but front seats exposed to UV light, are Grey now. Rear seat covers are black..

Front driver seat outer edge is Failing, due to in & out all the time..
BUT I like the Molly straps.. nice to hook things to it. Long Flex Cuff's fit nice in the straps. For easy grab, as with the normal zip ties.
4-5 years old now?.
