Very nice.I did a thing last week.
New "DD" but really kid taker to daycare'r/grocery getter/vacation mobile/tow rig for the boat. Maybe the occasional tow rig for the 07, we'll see.
Sold the 2015 Xterra. Still DDing my wifes old altima until it finally gives up. 07 xterra isn't going anywhere any time soon.
Man does this thing drive sweet, should have done this sooner.

so funny story.....
last GLX wheel trip to the badlands in Attic IN, we ran into some Land Rover people...... not the cool old school land rover people, but the really snobby silver spoon type land rover people. well the caught up to uss on a one way trail while we where in the process of [see picture]. they all walked over and then started to freak the ufck out because maybe the one Disco II was the only rig that had any reason to be at this park. oh it was ufck great. they all looked like the text book stereotype for overlanders and it was so sad and funny to see at the same time. turns out everone in the park hated these guys cuz they would get half way down a trail and then hald to turn another because something freaked them out. well no shiat you are at an OFF ROAD PARK! not a damn fire road.
also keep in mind that this X is SASd and on 37s in that hole...

That's a hell of a hole then!
I came from hardcore offroading to Overlanding because I wanted to take the family and travel and the fully built crawler you have to tow places was no fun.
I don't go to off-road parks anymore but wouldn't mind checking out Raush and Windrock eventually. But I'm pretty content with the stuff I've been doing in the X. It's fun and I get to get out and meet new folks and see new places even if I never have to pull cable or even go to 4lo.

Ohhh, and even when my ride was the fully locked K5 on 35s, I don't do mud... I've spent too much time beating bearing races off spindles and trying to salvage axles full of that mess. No bueno...
