That feeling that you get when the new tools you got for Christmas has the hidden meaning that you need a larger tool chest too!!!

(And THAT wasn't part of the gift!!)

Did I ever mention I own a pair of Subaru Outbacks? I paid $200 for the pair. Clear titles. Blue one is thrashed inside and out, and has a bullet hole in the windshield. But it runs and drives. Green one has no motor or wiring, but a mint body and interior. Kept thinking I will combine them for a daily beater. Problem is I cant put the blue ones motor in the green body as all the wiring has been removed and i dont want to rewire a late subaru. So im thinking ill swap body panels and interior over to the blue chassis.

I need a big tool box so bad. Those like 20 drawer units at home depot for like $500? Yeah. Need one.

I have automotive ADD pretty badly. so cheap things to tinker on always interest me.

And I agree with you.

That much fun for $200? I'd take that deal any day. Lately I've been helping out on an outback with a P2404 that comes back like clockwork every 600 miles. Nothing seems wrong with it, so we are thinking it must be one of them electronic demons living in it. ;)

Haha yea I laughed after you said that and I looked back at that pic. What's that, like 23 vehicles a barn and out bldg and that's just one angle.. At least you've always got something fun to do.

Ha! Yeah half that (pretty much everything that doesnt appear to be a VW) belongs to an old man who lets me park cars on his property. he collects old obscure cars (like that red and silver Rover 2000 TC in my pic) that he never works on, he just collects. I do have a ton of raggedy crap, but no where near his level yet. hahah

That is the greatest explanation of a Tacoma I have ever heard in life. Well done.
Thanks.

That's how I feel about tacos. You can't do full size truck stuff. You can't do suv stuff. You can drive it, and wheel it, but that about it. And it's only a few grand more to go to a Tundra and have an actual truck.

Wow! I wondered what that was, it had me stumped. Those sexy deck lines and taillights caught my eye. What a sweet old car.

So this is a thing. And I feel most of us would benefit from this thing.

I was thinking after I get a truck I might let my oldest drive my xterra when she gets her drivers license.
