I need help getting my X running again

So essentially I got into a wreck on May 1st of this year and the front body of the car got tore up pretty bad and she barely made it home. Due to my work and family I didn’t really have time to do anything with it. Now I have the time and I don’t know too much about the mechanics or getting cars to start. The battery is dead and it won’t jump off, but I can hear something turning (maybe the alternator?) when I have it hooked up. I don’t really have the money to bring it to a shop to get ripped off or something so I’d figured I’d do as much as possible by myself before I had to resort to that.
The specs are:
2003 Nissan Xterra
XE
VG33E
Automatic transmission
2WD
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out here!

Welcome. Pictures can be a huge help in figuring this out. If we can get some pictures of what the truck looks like we can start to assess the condition

This is what the body looked like after the collision, and she kind of limped home, the engine sounded like it was struggling pretty badly and the engine would turn off when I stopped at a stop sign but would restart for me afterwards.

This is after I started to remove the banged up body parts, and I plan to go to a scrap yard and try to find replacements.

Here's some more.
Earlier today I tried to jump it off since the battery was dead, but I just kept hearing this spinning-ticking sound from the driver's side under the hood. but the power wouldn't come on.

Is the radiator pushed into the fan? That could be some of the noise you are hearing. It's pretty common on front-hit Xterras. You've probably got one of the wiring harness legs ]pinched. It's shorted to ground, and so your battery keeps discharging.

Where would I find the wiring harness legs?
That's just another way of saying any of the smaller branches that run from the main harness to any of the lights and other electrical components up front, like the horn, etc. Pay particular attention to the area behind the radiator core support around the battery. Also, check to make sure your battery doesn't have a cracked case.
