Our waste heat evaporator is a BIG deal on several fronts. First and foremost is pollution control so EPA deal there. Second is without it, pulp mill can't blow digesters which means no pulp for the bleach room which means no stock for the paper machines.
Then on the back end, Recovery (where I work) gets no black liquor from the pulp mill to run our boilers and because the pulp mill isn't using any cooking liquor, our inventories fill up and the lime kiln and re-caust goes down.
So because the 1st effect of waste heat has a leak, everything except our power department is stalling and shutting down so they've moved up two paper machine outages to this weekend and drafted a bunch of people to be here extra, including me....

Watching A New Hope an Disney+. I don't think that I've ever seen a version of this with this level of clarity. I still prefer the unedited 1977 cut of the film tho. It didn't need all the extra CG and scenes. Though the HD lightsabers are pretty.

Well today was a ufcking shiat show.
The Maxima got two new tires. It drove amazingly on the way home from Discount Tire. Stopped at the liquor store before going home. Immediately when I left it blew two ignition coils leaving me stranded. Two. At the same time. Luckily the coils are the same ones as the X so I was able to swap them and drive it home.
Took the wife's Pathy to the dealer to do a transmission flush. It was definitely needed. But holy ufck. That was expensive.
Had someone who was gonna come look at the Maxima tomorrow. But told him not to bother since I can't drive it missing two coils.
Speaking of. Had plenty of interest for the Max. But even people who say they're gonna come see it, never do. Nobody will actually show up. What the ufck?
Anyway. Going to swap all the coils and plugs. Then get it through emissions. After that it's $2500.
