It’s a rental water heater. Was already in the house when we bought it 3 years ago. Depending on what the guy said tomorrow. I might just tell him to get the faulty water heater out of my house and I will deal with installing a new one

Now mine is giving issues. Water dripping from PTRV and the cold water fitting needed snugged. Hopefully a new PTRV will fix the issues...

There's usually a reason a T&P leaks. What's house pressure? Is there a thermal expansion tank on the heater?

Don't know and no.

Last time it was because the county thumped the whole neighborhood. Unseated the valve and it wouldn't clear the seat and seal.

Might be all the trauma our plumbing has suffered in the last month. Wanted to add a anti-hammer device but haven't yet. Need a regulator on the house too I guess.

welp........ found out some pretty shiat news today at work. the tank line is gonna stop paying us dead head miles at the end of the month. thats over 10k a year down the shiatter....

odds are this my end up killing my boss's outfit and we all become company drivers. thing is im willing to move closer to Milwaukee where the tank farms and main yard are. gonna call the GM of operations tomorrow and ask about my future.

with that being said i am putting a hold on all Xterra related projects until this get resolved. im hoping to keep pull for this tank line whether its in a company truck or my own truck, but if i gotta go else where... well thats just trucking.

Oh, was watching interesting videos between running parts last night about if your dog would protect your house from intruders. It was interesting most of the dogs was friendly with the intruders but a few of the small terriers were not happy about it. I know my first boxer would definitely defended our house (he was territorial aggressive) but unless the kids were home I don't think luna would do a thing the pup is still to young to tell. Thor my first boxer hated just about anyone that came to the house unless he knew them when he was a puppy. He was a little gritty also growing up out in the country. One thing was for sure is that he did not like the mailman at the time we had a mail slot in the door that had a aluminium plate over it that plate was covered in teeth marks from him biting it the there was the time he put his head through a window because he got to the door to late.

Moved the xterra into the shop last night. I had forgot that I had filled it with water when the water pump when on my last trip. I hope it hasnt gotten to cold to hurt anything. Will drain the water tonight and kick it back out untill I can deal with it. I need to replace the steering rack in my sisters Rav and fix my plow truck before I deal with the X.
