Automatic question

Hey guys! I know I have been gone for a long while, life has been supper busy....I have managed to convert my parents and my mom is looking at a 2003 xterra, she wants to know if there are any issues with a automatic transmission, she would rather have a standard but this one has good mileage and she really needs a truck! She would love your input, the good, bad, and ugly! Thank you!

AT's from the first gen were pretty solid. For a slush box.

As long as the fluid changes were kept up, that 4 speed is pretty damn good.

Issues known with 2005-2010 auto transmissions.

In all fairness, its not exactly the transmissions fault, it's the radiator which fails allowing coolant to enter the transmission lines which pass through it. This in turn leads to a transmission failure re:smod.
