Took the 05 xterra for a test drive, Engine sounds good. No cel lights came on. The 4x4 light stayed on but felt like it was shifting between 4x4 and 2x4 depending on where the dial was set. It revs really high before shifting, is that what the smod does? But it drives nice once up to speed.

Yeah. Valve body gets ufcked. Shifting is all wonky. If it gets bad enough it wont shift at all.
