Current things.

HK USPc .40S&W - LEM trigger kit
Old unnamed .38 Smith top break revolver
Detonics compact 1911 .45ACP
Mossberg 590 Tactical 12GA
Ruger 10/22 with pistol grip (first gun I ever bought)
Winchester 1905 pump action .22LR (belonged to my grandfather)
Smith & Wesson M&P15 lower with match trigger and HK416 grip. No upper tho. Half a gun is useful, right?

Wife has a Ruger LCP in .380ACP

The Detonics 1911 is in shiat condition. The sear is ufcked up and won't hold the hammer tension and the slide is cracked at the return spring. Detonics was the first compact 1911 ever made. And this is a Gen 1 with a 4 digit serial number. So it's pretty rare. But it needs work if I want to actually shoot it.

Guns I used to have.
Bersa Thunder .380 - first handgun I bought. Sold it.
Smith & Wesson M&P .40S&W - bought it at dealer cost when I had connections. Carried it for work when I was doing armed security. Great gun. But nothing special. Traded it for the Mossberg.

Smith and Wesson MP40

Winchester model 1894 manufactured 1912. Most accurate rifle I’ve ever shot or owned. Was my great grandfathers.

There be some pretty nice gear on here, I kinda wish things weren't quite this restrictive up here in the North. Just hanging with my non-restricted license means I am basically stuck buying rifles.

Current loadout:
1976? Winchester Model 69A. It be my stupidly-accurate gopher gun
Ruger 10/22 with an Archangel Nomad stock, with all the ridiculous tacticool accessories like underbarrel flashlight, red dot+laser sight. Not so accurate, but lots of fun to shoot.

1911 Ross MkIII in .303 British. Got from a coworker, was sitting around for a while so I haven't had the guts to fire it yet. Pretty sweet piece of Canadian history, though.
1938 91/30 Mosin Nagant

I have a bad habit of looking at older war-era bolt actions, and wishing I either had more money or fewer expensive hobbies...

the maple syrup is easy. moose on the other hand will be a bit harder to get across the border
If FromFrontiera2Xterra likes to fly fish, bring him some polar bear hair. Just do not mention it at the border. :)

Politically correct American voters do not believe that large cute animals like polar bears can be effectively managed and the hides of dead bears can be sold without provoking an African-style black market in polar bear skins.

Gotta love the Saiga 12 although they're getting a lil pricey these days. As long as you feed it heavy loads it goes boom everytime whether it's clean or had a 1000rnds thru it.

I really dig the factory trigger on my GP100 but still can't get enough of the 686 Smith, just seems built for my hand. The GP is accurate if I try but the 686 just damn near shoots itself on target.

My current favorite. Henry 45/70 lever

Lever action with a scope, don’t judge, I hunt with it.

Also have a Thompson Center Encore with a .22-250 barrel and a .45 cal muzzleloader barrel. Stupid accurate.

Mossberg 500 with a 28” and 20” barrel, H&R youth 20 ga single shot, and a Ruger 10/22 takedown.

Been thinking about picking up another Henry lever in .357

Added a small bypod to the oldest’s rifle. Home this will help Him out for now. At least to understand the basic principles of marksmanship

Also ordered 1000 rounds of 223 Remington. Man that is expensive. I think I will go to the range a few times this week. Specially once the new range toy arrives

cool but too much fire for indoors play..
That was actually a really hot round. We were shooting some reloads, and that one happened to get caught by the camera as we were filming in slow motion. I completed the drill, and we decided to not shoot anymore from that batch afterward. She doesn’t usually breathe fire like that. I’m just happy I got a cool shot and my gun didn’t blow up.

Damned highway robbery at this point. Makes me glad I stocked up all those years when ammo was cheap and plentiful.
Agreed. Since I just bought the new toy I need ammo in that caliber. I still have plenty for the ones I already owned from before this whole covid shiat started. Now time to start looking for some optics ( and backup iron sights)
