Had some time today and re-wired some switches as well as mounted a hallighan extrication tool

Installed new fog lights last weekend. Found out why the PIAA lights stopped working. The wiring harness was so corroded that it all just fell apart

Also ended up needing to boost the truck this morning from the crappy year old optima yellow top I installed last year. Ended up picking ups North Star AGM battery that has 1400CCA for the first 10 seconds as well as a 4 year replacement warranty.

While I was changing the battery I ended up changing out the head light bulbs. And wipers.

Mostly all maintenance items. But I hope this fixes my failure to start issues this winter

Fyi if you are running an AGM and aren’t getting it 14.2V or more from the alternator the cells never get fully recharged and will fail prematurely. The OEM charging system is garbage for AGM’s....and even poor for regular lead-acid. Unless you want to put it on a charger once a week, it will keep happening. My stock battery lasted just over a year lol!

hey thanks for the heads up about the charging system

I have my BD tuner to monitor the battery and it’s always 14.2 will keep an eye on it.

I am currently located in petawawa. A couple hours west of where your located

well ended up trading in the Xterra. ended up buying a 2017 Silverado 1500 True North Edition. will still be hanging around here and stay as active as possible. will be listing up a few leftovers from the Xterra so keep an eye out on the FS threads
