What have you done for your X?

I like the narratives that you guys have given about the Firestone Destination AT’s and the Cooper Discoverer’s, that’s mainly what I’m looking for is a great all-around tire that is durable. I appreciate it! I’ll have to see what configurations those AT’s are offered in. I don’t think the MPG’s would take too bad of a hit, I have a 3.36 FD ratio with 265/75/16and am currently getting 18.5ish combined. Melt mod???..... jk already done haha. Anyone know how much they dropped fuel economy whose going from 32 AT to a 33 AT? Or from a P to LT tire?

Any suggestions on a nice AT 285/75/16 that is good for DD and off-road traction? I’m still on the P4X OEM Hankooks. Im going to stick with P tires and not go up to LT. Honestly, I may stick with 265/75/16, I don’t do too much off-roading but that may change during this next tire selection cycle! Any advice appreciated, most recently I was thinking about AT Falken Wildpeaks, had read that they were a great option for DD and off-road/overlanding
Falken WildPeak ATW3 is what I went with about 5,000 miles ago. Like you my X is my DD, 25 miles round trip to work. These replaced my BFG KO2s that still had plenty of life left on them.

Oh nice, how’s your fuel economy with the wildpeaks? I’m considering the Cooper Discoverer and Falken Wildpeaks.

Seemed to improve slightly. Each tire is 9 pounds lighter than my KO2’s were. More supple as well. I stuck with 265/75/16.
There’s a good chance i’ll Stick with the 265/75 also! did you get P or LT wildpeak’s?

So, recently I swapped out my leaking power steering rack, scheduled re gear, ordered body lift rad skid and sliders and developed an annoying squeak

Ive been running duratracs for about the same amount of time and wheeled the snot out of them. They were flawless up until the Titan swap and stepping up to harder trails. These east coast rocks are sharp little jerks and I've been slicing sidewalls like crazy
Step up to stt pros they have 3 ply sidewalls so will take a little more to cut them.

Where did you read that it's calmini?
I saw a post on Nissan nation podcast’s IG not sure how valid this is, or if it really matters since it is indeed calmini and no one will risk the Uber amounts of hassle a purchase like that would be

I'm pretty sure its RR but someone in the comments said Calmini as a joke.

SteeveO is not developing it. I don't know if he'll be the distributor for it or not. I don't think distribution is set yet

Tried to support local business by going to ace for some bolts, but said fcku that sky high when I found only mild steel bolts in the grade 8 bins. Ordered what I needed from boltdepot.

Rural king and TSC usually has a good selection of bolts. If neither of them have what I'm looking for then I head to napa.

Finished rattlecanning the engine skid! Woop!! Can't wait to get it installed! Not as smooth as I'd like, but it's ok. The ring is just from the roll of masking tape I set it on while I did the backside, will wash right off in a few hours when paint is finished curing.
