The girls and I took luna for a 3 mile hike today and she is really slowing down. About a quarter of the way through I think she was ready to go home. There was a lot of hill climbs and she had to jump over a few downed trees and I think it took the energy out of the old girl.

oh hey friend.
Went on a hike today and it was not fun to say the least. When we were still about a mile and a half from the car we had a severe thunderstorm come in at first it was manageable was only getting jellybean sized hail. Then when the gulf ball sized hail started I had to huddle my boy and daughter#2 against a somewhat big tree and try to protect them as much as I could with my body. Daughter#1 swears that she has a concussion for getting hit in the head a few times with the lager hail. To say the least we had some pissed off people when we got back to the car.
