Exactly. No plot, felt like a forced collection of one liners. Didnt much care for the redo of Domino, and I ufcking hated fat amy in Pitch Perfect, why would I like fat amy as a fat ambiguously brown kid villain. Hard pass. Juggernaut was pretty cool, as was the traffic battle and final scene. Got tired of watching him die for a long ass time and some of the jokes felt copied from part one. Dunno, I laughed pretty hard, but It wasnt nearly as magical as part one IMO.

EDIT: Also felt too SJW themed.

I didn't like the cgi juggernaut nor the fully cgi colussus yet again. The plot was so open for Death to be a part of it yet they didn't bring her in. Also now that he went back in time a couple times does that mean his hottie girl is alive again? Why not just go back in time and kill francis?

I assumed he couldnt kill francis because he would still be dead from Cancer. I assumed his girl was back alive again, and I was super disappointed to not see Death. I was like ITS PERFECT!

cgi Colossus sucks the root, this movie and the other movie.

The idea that Colossus just sits around the mansion in metal is ufcking stupid.

Exactly. Also NTW should have had more screen time. Didn't like that they had Yukio again but by a different actor. Seemed uneccessary assuming it was supposed to be the same Yukio that played opposite Hugh Jackman.

I was trying to figure out if that was a low key slap to the face, but didnt really get the reasoning for it.

Spill. Tell me your feelings.

I thought it was throughly enjoyable. A bit soft and squishy. And a really good way to end the contracts of two of the core people to the franchise.

It was a completely unique story as far as the details go But that's OK. The movie was really good for what it was intended to do.

A few characters will continue the MCU. That's what matters.

Okay here are my thoughts.

It was long as hell and could have been condensed. Did not like the direction they took the hulk in. Hipster non smash hulk is stupid. We deserved a full battle with him. And, if you notice, he is barely larger than any other character. We did not get a full rematch with Thanos and a bad ass hulk, but I wish we did.

I hate to do this, but I will. I thought they spent entirely too much time energy and effort to set up the future of the MCU as female led. Thor is a fat lazy slob, never recaptures his mojo completely, and passes it off to whats her face, Pepper Potts (probably Tonys daughter really) will be the new iron man, you see the female avengers assemble in the scene where they have to "help" spiderman (which also makes no sense. That guy is strong as shiat).

Everyones failing until Capt Marvel shows up and saves the day. Really? Meh.

Im all about a new direction, no issue with female characters at all. Just seemed they spent a lot of energy on that. Why couldnt Thor be a ufckin bad ass after he met with his mom? He gets ufckin handled by Thanos, but then Scarlet Witch handles his ass with ease.

I get the Iron Man / Captain American exit. Not sure why it would automatically go to Falcon (other than for the sake of diversity) when it clearly should be Winter Solider, but I get that part too I suppose. I like the Falcon character, and he was Capt America in the comics a time or two.

I will for the sake of this post ignore glaring plot holes, but over all I thought it a decent and fitting end to the MCU as we know it. I'm excited to see what happens next, mostly.

I thought it was good. I didn’t mind “professor hulk” because in the books he does become that way for awhile.

I do agree about fat Thor and just handing over the kingdom.

Also, what the ufck happened to mjolnir? Cap took it back with him.

I like professor hulk. I just wanted to see him slip and rage out a little bit one last time.

My issue with the Harley Quinn movie.

I think that Margo Robbie's HQ is probably one of the best interpretations of the character we have in film. However. The character itself cannot stand on its own. HQ was always the sidekick of The Joker. Harley doesn't know what the ufck to do with herself without Joker calling the shots. The codependency is what makes the character work. So having a movie that defies everything we know about the character makes it inherently terrible. Plus, all the acting around her was atrocious. Victor Zsasz as a thug for Black Mask? No. No other memorable DC characters in the entire movie? No.

At the end of it all this suffered the same fate as all of the other DCEU movies. Took itself way too seriously. The character development was shoddy at best. And despite the main character being really well acted, the rest of the movie was shiat.

Spider-Man. Let's talk about how awesome it was. And the Venom stinger st the end.
Pretty sure it was how Sony pulls spidey back to Sony universe without repercussions because "no one will remember you."

The venom blue ball ending kinda stung.

As for the movie, ufcking loved it. Dafoe's performance was even better than the original and he did his own stunts which is freaking awesome.

Dafoe was ufcking amazing. Really brought the character back.

I loved seeing Tobey as Spider-man again. He's the middle aged Spider-man I always wanted in a movie.

Their spin on the Sinister Six was also interesting.

All around a fantastic movie.

Absolutely. Loved it.

Oh! And dark Dr Strange! That shiats gonna be bonkers.
Absolutely. News broke today that with the major success of NWH that they are doing some reshoots to bring in additional characters from other multiverses. Curious to see who they bring.

Oh and how about Murdock! Tiny role but mcu confirmed. Stoked about about that.

You watch Hawkeye yet?

Yes. I caught up with episode 5 of Hawkeye as suggested. Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin was ufcking great and I'm excited to see that get some big screen action.

I absolutely loved this movie. Loved it. And DaFoe is so so good! I mean good in everything. I loved it!

I loved the ending. I think with MJ out of the way we might actually see a Felicia Hardy/Black Cat enter the picture which would be awesome.

I loved how spiderman couldnt save gwen stacy, but caught this MJ different, saving her and then teared up.

Loved the Flash point reference. I literally laughed LOUDLY at that.

Everything. Middle aged spiderman. Doc Oc again.

It is my new favorite by far. Cant wait to see it again.

I was hoping for more Venom in this one, I mean seriously. Throw in the vulture, and what did we have?

MOTHERufckING SINISTER SIX

I mean, we could still do it. But this is as close as ive seen.

I think they're setting up another black suit movie. Brock talked about going to talk to Spider-Man (for some ufcking reason instead of any other Avenger) Venom agreed, and then left a piece of himself on the bar.

Remember, Michael Keaton's Vulture shows up in Morbius. We know that from the trailer.

That's another one that is in the spider-verse so it'll be interesting what they do with it.

I definitely think a black suit movie is coming. I think thats why he left a piece of himself.

Gimme a full rated R Venom, that would be pretty sweet.

Sorry, was playing with a couple smart outlets I got and then need time.

That was hands down, the best Marvel movie since End Game. My middle girl has been obsessed with Spiderman since she was little and she spent the last 20 minutes of the movie with tears streaming down her face.

We were a little out of touch because we haven't seen the Andrew Garfield Spiderman movies yet (not really sure why).

Seeing Tobey back in uniform was great! And the back and forth between him and Garfield was awesome too!

I'm not a fan of the Venom movie but got a kick out of them including Eddie and Venom in the end scene. The nod to Into the Spider-verse was good too, but I wish they had done something more with that because that's personally, (now) my second favorite Spiderman movie.

I just woke up so I need coffee and then I'm sure I'll have more to say.

"Man I sure thought you would be black."

"Sorry?"

"Man there HAS to be a black Spiderman out there somewhere..."

Everybody in my theater: OH shiat, MILES!
Yeah, Kaylee yanked my arm and whispered "Miles!" to me. I was really really REALLY wanting a Miles post credit. Like an animation->real life portal transition or something like that. I mean I'm happy about the Dr Strange one, but being such a huge "Into the spider-verse" fan I kinda felt gipped over just the singular, small nod.
