front end recovery points?

I have a 2000 w/stock front bumper & if I put another bumper on there, it shall be one of the last things I do. That being said where would I attach a snatch strap on the front end to get pulled out of a mud hole? I know the little loop that hangs down under the bumper is just a transportation tie down. I would like to add shackle tabs on the bumper but again, looking this up will only show adding them to the rear bumper.

Someone else just told me that the ring just under the passenger side front is a tow point. That’s not correct is it?

there is a shipping tie down on both sides, they are not rated as recovery points. There may or may not be a hook on the passenger side frame horn that is a recovery point. Not everybody got them, and they are not very good anyway, it is a hollow tube and I have broken a couple of them. You can bolt a generic on the bottom of the passenger frame horn, you will need to open up the holes in the hook so it will line up with the holes in the frame.
