I think the OP is talking about the interior panels.

My hatch panel is terribly scratched and honestly I am not worried about it. If I can find a replacement panel then I might try sanding and painting my panel. If that fails I've got the replacement panel to use.

Yea for interior panels, atleast on the 2g, I’ve noticed this to be a downfall. The panels scratch very easily. Only fix I know of is to sand and paint. I mean if you really want to spend the time on it you probably could fiberglass or use some kind of epoxy filler and basically rebuild.

Shoot, a rattle can of *insert your color scheme* after sanding and I think they'd turn out just fine. Cheap 'n easy. If not start the hunt for pick n pull maybe..
