Powersteering Hardline Replacement

Has anyone replaced the pressure hardline going from the reservoir to the gear box? I need to get that done before mine is drive able...

Yes, but I had the entire front end disassembled when I did it. For other reasons.

OI, we from a labor stand point, is it pretty straight forward disconnecting it?

Once you have access, it's not too bad. Two clips under the radiator, one weird sandwich clamp on the right side under the pump, then the two fittings themselves. I have no idea how access is to the clamp by the pump is as I was tearing apart the entire engine for other reasons. It may be fine once you get the radiator off, then maybe unmount the pump.

It was a very straight forward to pull out and installation. I ended up needing to replace the hardline return hose, instead of the pressure line, so after restalling that, and pulling out the return line, it was straight forward. Much easier with two sets of hands, but very do able with 1 person. All clamps, the sandwich clamp and access to the gear box ones were fairly easy when the front end was lifted a little.
