well time to update this a little bit Since I am stuck at work for a little bit longer

received and installed my New InSain Fab rear bumper with swing arm. ( pics to follow when I get home) and also started wiring in a back up camera system with out changing the stock RF head unit ( it still works to my content so why change it). will post pics of the install when it's complete

I also installed a 14" LED light bar between the Mickey Mouse lights on the OR/P4x roof damn. and cleaned up my extra fuse block and all of the extra wiring that goes with it. so far I still need to align the light bar to not signalling ET when I turn it on.

So today, when I was trying to clean up the back of my rig and store all my recovery gear into a Actionpacker, I ended up ripping off the 2 quick fists that are holding my shovel and a bow saw off of the rear hatch, looks like I need to re-think having these items there, and I might even just make a diffrent set up to hold everything in place and add an axe mount on there too.

so much shiat I need to do to the X this spring. just looking through the missed maintenance over the last year and a bit.
need to do:
[] Brakes
[] Brake fluid
[] Front diff fluid change
[] T case fluid change
[] Rear diff fluid change
[] Radiator fluid change
[] Spark Plugs
[] fix stupid rear bumper with swing arm
[] fix broken weld nut holding rad skid plate
[] clean up wiring from additional lights and stuff I've added over the years
[] peel and re bed line front Ironbull bumper

plus probably a lot more once I start working on things. also need to figure out where to dump used fluids around where I currently live. I've got some used oil jugs accumulating around the garage. will also take a coupe minutes to fix the stupid photobucket pictures this weekend.

fixed all the photobucked BS as well as added some info to the OP.

some people are asking how i was able to fit 3 car seats in the back seat of the X

the Evenflow Tribute Convirtible car seats is one of the narrower brands and can fit 3 wide in the back of an Xterra ( as well as a 2012 Ford Escape)

we currently have 2 that are rear facing and 1 that is forward facing.

new brakes and brake fluid flushed due to the weather and not having a garage big enough to fit my X I brought it to the local OK tire. while doing the work, they noticed that the right ( passenger side) axle seal and wheel bearing were gone on my rear axle. so changed the axle shaft with the bearing, seal and tone ring assembly. now the truck drives like new.

also ordered a new 11 000 lb winch with synthetic line as well as a red aluminium haws fairlead and front plate attachment. can't wait to get that in the mail. will post pics of the winch and fairlead once I get them in hand

thinking about reworking some mods on the truck this week. i've been thinking about installing a LOBO rack and reworking my strobe light set up. right now I have this in the rear window hanging off of the roof hooks
1Htsy5m.jpg

and 1 of these on each side
pigrsLw.jpg

I ordered some of these
JZWq5qo.jpg

as well as this strobe light controle module off of Amazon
xOEcJ2i.jpg

this is all a start on the new lighting plan and all of the wires of the control module will be attached to a buss bar style hook up to help control the addition and removal of various lights.

I am also looking at how I can make my own roof rack ( full Gobi style rack replacement) but not sure if I can afford a descent tube bender. I was also thinking of making a tube bender that would make radius bends in a square tube. still in the planning phases right now

need opinions.

Well started working on some of the lights that I have in hand. 91D714F2-BD6B-4D19-B29B-093C150ACEFA.jpeg

DECD354D-7DD3-4A6A-A6F4-3AB85D528014.jpeg
Started by making a stencil to use to ensure things are level on the truck
EE7A167D-C198-4DD5-BC53-995DD6421918.jpeg

Then I added the 3 wire water proof connectors to the back of the lights. Once I have the wires ran through the truck, I will connect the female end to those ones but that will happen a diffrent day cause it’s too hot to be doing anything outside today

as promised here are the last few pics I took for today.
things left to complete:
- remove old Destaco latch (the mechanism is starting to seize due to it being powder coated with the rest of the bumper)
-relocate trailer wiring harness plug
-remove entire bumper to sand, prime and Bedline.( I was able to remove the powder coat in large pieces)
