I’m hoping one of you guys running the Calmini SAS kit on your 1st gen can give me a couple of specs.

I’d like to know the length of the track bar that came with the kit (tube, adapter to adapter or eyelet to eyelet).

whatever you can get me without too much hassle.

Some pictures would be nice.

Also what front drive shaft are you using and it specs.

Thanks for your help.

I guess we are in a similar situation. I ordered in the beginning of February. The "order" showed up last month without a packing list. It is missing the Track Bar, Heims, Radius Arm Heims and a few other odds and ends.
The sales person, Justin, is unable to provide a truthful account of my orders status at any time and is currently “on vacation”.

It’s very frustrating.

Yup, I got that same answer from the secretary yesterday and missing all those parts as well. I wonder if there is any legal action that can be taken since they arent willing to complete their orders. Also... make sure you have pictures of EVERYTHING they did ship you, that way you have proof

To bad there is not a more reliable business making sas kits. I would more than likely order one from them here in the near future.

The problem is... leafs suck, they never highway worth a damn and I have to long distance to get to my wheeling. As much as I love to support Steven & Rugged Rocks, his kit is WAY out of my budget. Really someone needs to take the Calmini kit and repro it and actually deliver it on time...

You and I seem to have the same ideas. I don't like leafs and drive to and from the trail and to work.

I did get a TX-10 Front CV Flange Yoke from Rugged Rocks but that kit of his was out of reach.

I did spend a lot on rebuilding the d44 but a friend let me have a Yukon 5.13 gear set and ARB RD116 he happened to have them lying around cheap.

A friend who is helping put this in has the hardware to build a track bar. That’s why I’m asking for the length. I just need to get some tube.

Soo called Calmini again today. I threatend them that I would pursue legal action if I dont get my parts soon. The secretary seems to have caught on to how pissed and frustrated I am. We will see...

On the topic of your track bar. Let me see if I can get you an answer

You guys and the "leafs suck" mentality... lol

I'll say it now and for years to come. If they are set up properly you will have zero issues. I love my leaf setup. It cause me no issues at all. I have enough flex, super stable on the road. And can get almost any of my parts off the shelf at an auto parts store. My truck can handle curvy mountain roads and 85+ mph with absolute ease and no worry of losing control.

Plus I'm completely swapped for less then $2500

We have a mutual friend who can't drive their leafed truck above 50mph... that alone makes me say nope. Yes leafs have been around forever, long before coils were being used. But converting to leafs and having the what ifs doesnt make me feel a whole lot better

Yes, but he also has a axle that's been modified, not a stock axle that's setup for leafs

I drive my leaf sprung truck to work every day, never an issue. For the person that cant drive over 50 mph, I would like to see a print out of his alignment specs. Something tells me that his caster is all kinds of out of wack.
