From my experience, if it has to be bedlined, it has to be Line-X. It costs more, sure. But there's something to be said for professional prep and installation.

This. My truck needs a bed liner, and I have done extensive research into liners. I havent yet found one as good as Line x. Plenty cheap, but you get what you pay for.

my raptor liner is 3 or 4 years old still good. good prep is the key i can walk you trough it or paint it for ya.

only time line-x is a good idea is when the area sees extensive use like a bed of a truck etc. thats what its made for. otherwise its a waste of money in my opinion.

My sliders are LineX'd going on 5 years now, and they still look great. Not glossy anymore, but only really because the texture makes it impossible to get them really clean. LineX is hands down the best.
But, there are others that are nearly as good and will hold up great if you prep properly.

I don't think I could spend the money on line x for skids or sliders. The rocks up here would tear it up.

That's why I went with LineX. Easier and cheaper to recoat with that than it is to powdercoat. Unfortunately, I don't get to wheel very often around here unless I want to dunk my ride in a Louisiana swamp, but the upside is that I haven't needed to recoat them yet.
