We need to do a Xterra SAS meet up in like Moab or something.

I'm definitely down. I'll be at Gone 2016 for sure and possibly Easter weekend. More than willing to try and squeeze another trip in.

Sweet. I'll probably be doing gone 2016 as well.

hey just out of curiousity, what is your caster angle set at? And did you do anything to the track bar besides just the stuff that came with the calmini kit? Any issues with bump steer or death wobbles/shakes?

I am not sure what my caster is set at. I didn't do the setting of it but its pretty slack that i know. as for the track bar, the calmini one is good. I did end up adding an additional bracket on the axle to beef up where the track bar bolts on the axle. Now as for the steering adapter that comes with the calmini kit; it blows hard. horrible bump steer. I upgraded to a 1 ton y-link system.

this is the one that i bought http://www.chassisunlimited.com/product/steering/tie-rod-kits/y-link-drag-link-steering-kit.html it is super stout and i have no bump steer. with this setup i did have to ream out the pitman arm to take the bigger tie rod.

Yeah I did the same thing, didn't use the Calmini steering adapter at all and built mine out of 1.5" DOM with 1 ton TRE. I still need to add a double shear bracket for the track bar but have about 8* caster and feel like there is a little bit of a "dead" spot in the center of the steering. Wondering if going to say 6* would eliminate that.

Could always try it and see how it feels. I took mine to a shop to get all that worked out. Lol
