That yellow X was actually for sale on craigslist not too far from me a few months back! If I remember right he only wanted 7k for it!

Just throwing this out there, please don't let this site become like TNX by bashing other rigs, vehicles, "wips", cars, trucks or what ever you want to call them. I like this site and don't want to have to leave it because everyone jumps on the "It's not built like my rig" bandwagon.

This rig serves AT LEAST one perfectly justifiable purpose. It is build how the owner wants. Who really cares if he uses it for it's purpose or not. They did the same thing everyone on this site does to their rigs, they modified it to their tastes. I for one like it, it may be hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like some thought went into the suspension. Double Triangulated front and rear I think. That takes some skill.

Just saying.

Cheers,
Josh

I agree with this.

Sorry if my comment came across like I was bashing it I was simply stating my opinion not trying to be hateful. That being said I think it I a very built rig and someone put a lot of time and money into this and takes great pride in it. I would not build mine to be like that but I have respect for the person that did.

Nowwwwwwwwww beeeee happppyyyyyyy :D :D

Personally, I give credit to all the rigs posted on here. Obviously time, effort and a great deal of money went in to each of the builds.

Just as a FYI- there are some SAS builds listed on XN, too if you were looking for ideas on eventually doing one. There's even a Gen 2 SAS for sale listed on TNX....in Phoenix, AZ I think.

Well said Mel. To each their own. We may not like all of them but a lot of time, effort and money was spent on them.

I think creek up in Colorado is still trying to sell his JK swapped RubiXterra on TNX, even though he deleted his build thread on it...

wow, just wow. I seen your build progress a few different places. But its been a while. I'm looking for something that reminds me of an xterra and the only thing I see is the frame.

:)

Motor & tranny are still (and will remain) Nissan - with a 75hp nitrous express wet kit. There's also some carpet and the center console w/cupholders lol. Only frame is from right behind seats to the front, but about 8" has been cut off front over time.

One goal was a simple, lightweight buggy. Weighing in at 3860lbs with 12gal fuel I'd say I achieved my goal. Oh yeah, it'll do 50mph in the whoops & rough dirt without beating me up - rides likw a caddy at speed.

Anyone ever have questions on suspension setup or spring weights, hit me up. I designed my suspension and tuned it along with 3 ultra4 buggies.
