Odd- Scheduled an appointment with mechanic for later in the week and now the noise is gone- Will take it on a long drive tomorrow and see if it returns.

2007 4x4 with 84k Timing chain, tensioners replaced at 60k Rather obvious rattling sound coming from what sounds like front of engine- Sounds like a bunch of pieces of something rattling around. No CLE and runs/drives perfect. Any ideas?

Yup! mostly target first 5 miles above ocean. Nothing beats a hot steelhead screaming across the river and doing cartwheels in the air!
