Bottobro's Build. Laura let's get SASSY

I would go with the Ox locker just due to the ease of operation. Even if the cable breaks on the trail you can lock the diff right at the axle. Break an air line or loose a compressor and your stuck replacing the air line if you have one or going without a locker for the rest of the trail. I...

    Alternator output voltage?

If your concerned about your alternator voltage after installing the winch you could upgrade to a 99-03 alternator from a Nissan Quest with the 2 sliding doors. That alternator is rated at 125 amps vs the xterra at 80 amps. You just have to swap the pulleys and after that its all the same...

    Cptpackrat's 01 build "EMMA"

Did you get the pre load on the coilovers figured out? I was talking to you on FaceBook about it. I also have the GM 1 ton steering and have the drag link behind the tie rod for the same reason. Mine might barely touch together still at full lock but nothing that I can notice while driving...

    Fo' by Fo'

Looking good. Looks like you should start a build thread as the mods will only continue to grow.

    Arrrrg! A radiator leak!!

Couldn't agree more. After switching to the 2 row all my cooling issues went away.

just bought a high mileage Xterra !

Great recommendations from the above post about the ignition products. I did not have any issues with my 2002 Xterra but recently changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, and fuel filter. The engine runs sooooo much better and throttle response is a huge...

    Cruecible's Build Thread - OnyXterra

I would strongly suggest to remove the downpipe when you decide to wrap it. The first time taking it off is a learning expirience but after that it is really easy. I had to swap my catless down pipe a couple times for smog is California and got used to it. The quality of the wrap will also be...

    Cptpackrat's 01 build "EMMA"

This was from the "Bad Brake fix after SAS" thread in the Straight axle Section. Sounds like it worked well for xterraminator running 35's.

    Cruecible's Build Thread - OnyXterra

Audi RS6 Avant for the sports wagon for sure. If only it was sold is America and I had the money to buy it. Simply the best. Nice looking Sti. I sold my 2006 Aspen White Sti before I got my Xterra. What mods are on it?

    Darude's CreamPuff Build.

I was thought it was the Waggy Dana 44 but wasnt sure because I saw that you have high steer arms for the drag link and tie rod. Did you have to drill and tap the existing knuckles?

    Darude's CreamPuff Build.

Great looking X!!! You might want to cover up the synthetic winch line so it doesnt get brittle sitting in the sun. Also I dont know if I missed it somewhere but what axle do you have up front?

Transcooler w/fan + e-fan overheating at high speeds

The Fan shouldn't really be making a big difference on the highway. I would look at the radiator or possibly the water pump if it has never been changed out. I had an overheating issue going up slight hills at highway speeds. I put in a new 2 row supercharger radiator and that solved my problems.
