I like mine just fine. In the rear it does what it was advertised to do by allowing more flex and keeping the the rear tires in contact with the ground. The on road manners are pretty good not really much different then a standard 3" lift. You just need to get used to a little extra movement...

Stored no it doesn't have to be upright but in order to use it the tank must be at least a 30 deg angle. Mine is mounted similar to Bklyn's.
