Still going. Had to replace all the brake lines but still reliable as ever. Been through 2 kids, now I am driving it again.

Not specific to the frontier front end. Its a fairly easy swap. I replaced the entire rad support but the inly difference is the grill mounts, if you are handy with a welder you could easily adapt xterra to support frontier grill. You will have to trim the lower grill trim to mate with xterra...

Valve cover gaskets changed, new plugs, new coolant lines behind intake manifold(curse them). This weekend im on to AC work, new compressor, lines, condenser, drier, expansion valve. Wish me luck!

are you saying that the 1/2 balljoints you received from the store was incorrect? Why not just have them order you another one? Thats probably easier than trying to match a pic to a part.

rear bushings for the front control arm. They are separate from the control arm.

did you change the lower/rear bushings in the frame? These trucks seem to follow the crown of the road more prominently than other vehicles I have owned but if this issue hasn't been noticed in your 9 yrs of ownership, it must be something that has failed. Could it be an auto locking hub? When...

well...another snag (par for the course). The cross member I installed had stripped threads!!! After talking to Ebay seller, they werent going to send me another without receiving the damaged goods. Screw that. I cut out the bad threaded section and grafted a new one in its place. Going to...

so, if all goes well...going for wheel alignment Saturday morning. Installed new spindles from Southern US, no rusty bolt issues lol. Had new seals and bearings pressed in. I even replaced the front crossmember. This job got way out of hand. Apart from a few hurdles, it's been fun. Stay tuned.

Its almost done now. Focussed on drivers side while I figure out what to do with the passenger abs sensor issue.
