I’d like to put a 2 inch front hitch on my 2010 off road X for a fishing rod rack to use traveling the beaches of cape cod. Any one ever do that ?

Talked to my mechanic again today about the no indications of alternator/battery problems about to happen. He said no codes of cam or crank sensors were indicated. Sometimes shiat just happens. All is running well but for a few weeks I won’t be straying too far. Just in case.

I asked my mechanic and he couldn’t really give me an answer why. I’ll dig a little deeper with him, I’m curious myself. The voltmeter gauge never gave me a hint of anything wrong and it always started instantly. Things that make you go hmmmm…..

Turns out it was my alternator that failed plus dead battery. Odd how I had no indication of either issue. It’s always something. Hopefully the X isn’t a moneypit

Again I’m not mechanically inclined, but read well. The ABS and SLIP lights were on. Would the brake position switch be a place to check also ? Odd how it doesn’t restart too. Hopefully when my mechanic guru is back next week it’s not a BIG deal.

So… Every thing is running fine in my 2010 off-road ( 92k miles ). Yesterday pulling away from a stop light I instantly have no ability to go more than 2 miles an hour. Engine doesn’t rev. The ABS and SLIP light are on. I limp into a parking lot and call AAA for a tow home. Truck doesn’t...

Last question before I upgrade. Does the LED light beam reach out as far comparably to the halogen ? You kids have been a great help. Thank you.

Thanks for the intel. I will order the nineo’s after I get 2 retaining rings. Just in case Murphy shows up. Next I’ll be looking into a radio upgrade, way too much fumbling around with the original while driving.

Thanks all for the help in my led fog light conversion. Love the wider and brighter output. I was so impressed I figured why not do the same for the headlights ? What a fine kettle of fish this is turning out to be. I have a 2010 OffRoad. The more I lookup information the more nebulous it gets...

Housings are fine. Just looking into a bright white LED headlight replacement now. Nice to see in the dark.

New fog lights are big improvement. Now I want to upgrade the headlights

Thanks for the replies. I live in a coastal location in Massachusetts. Fog is common, as is rain and snow. I’m looking to just do a straight bulb swap. The brighter yellow the better.

Any first hand recommendations on a plug and play yellow LED fog light bulb replacement ? Everything I look up claims they’re the best. Looking for bright and yellow. 2010 Off Road X
