I would imagine it would fit the 05-08 just fine. It is cut out to fit around the dip in the grill on the +09, but he mentions you have to trim that grill to fit a winch so you may not have to do it on an 05-08. I do like how close it fits to the body.

Nooooooooooo I hate to hear this. You've put a tremendous amount of work into your X. You were the first fellow Xterra owner I met on my way to my first GONE Moab. I wish you didn't have to, but I understand you have to do what's right for you.

I'll be interested to compare the overall height to IFS Nissans with the same size tires. I'm sure someone will get some comparison shots in the next few months.

What about heat shrink on the middle section and leave the part where the wires flare out unwrapped (for lack of a better term)? That would leave the ends near the connectors free to flare out and wouldn't put stress on the wires as they go into the back of the connector Just a thought...

Despite the above statement, I've been excited about this since Dave covered it on one of his NNP videos a few weeks ago. I hope one day I can get this kit and put it on my X. It's nice to have the option. I can't wait to check out JR's rig at WENT.

I haven't had it too long and have just been messing around with thin stuff it at this point. Just 1/8 thick so far. I haven't popped a breaker yet and the metal sure isn't coming apart (it may not be pretty)

Well, I guess I should clarify... I dont have a 240v outlet anywhere in the house at the time. I do want to run 240v to the garage which is why I got the 210MVP

We don't have 240 in our newer home. The dryer, stove, etc... are natural gas. I have a Hobart 210 MVP. I can run it off a normal outlet and when I get around to running 240 to the garage, I can still use it with that

What do you think about 4.10s with 35s? Do you wish you had gone with 4.56? Asking because I'm thinking about 35s and trying to decide on gears.
