Netflix. Santa Clarita Diet. It's campy and dumb but still fun. Timothy Olyphant's overacting is hard to swallow the first few episodes. But it gets a lot better.

Also, Altered Carbon. You really need to pay attention to it, but it's ufcking good.

Amazon. The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Hilarious. 10/10. Can't wait for season 2.

Networks
FXX: Legion. Marvel series. Professor Xs illegitimate son. Season 1 was fantastic. Season 2 was just announced.

CBS: Still watching Criminal Minds. Also started SWAT. Procedural cop drama. Very watchable. Also SEAL Team.

Sadly, I've cut the cord so hard that really nothing on the networks, including Hulu/Netflix, appeal to me. It's mostly random YouTubers for me now. Or I'm in the room while Mrs. watches something.

I don't pay for content.
Only content I pay for is Netflix. "The Netherlands" manages to provide most everything else. I did add in an antenna to my Plex Server to grab current stuff for Mrs. Jury's still out on how well that works.

Look up Ducky TV.
I have a dedicated machine behind a VPN that does everything and loads new content into Plex automatically.

I just finished grimm s6. Man that show was fun, and I'm actually glad it ended. The first couple seasons were great but you could tell they were running out of ideas by the end.

PReviously did Altered Carbon and the 100. I believe 100 has a season not yet on the flix.

Olyphant was so damn good in Justified though. I loved that series. Walton Scoggins was also awesome.

I just finished off within the past few weeks:
Netflix
-Punisher (series)
-Luke Cage
-Jessica Jones
-Daredevil 1&2
-Marvel Defenders (and yes, in that order; no, I did not list Iron Fist)
-Better Call Saul (had already been watching, but now I'm mostly caught up)
-Parks and Recreation (never had the opportunity to finish)
-Altered Carbon

Amazon
-Grand Tour (duh)

HBO
-Westworld (3 episodes in, and super lost)

I had started Man in the High Castle, but it was waaay too slow. I suffered through Breaking Bad season 1 awhile back, and that ended up being one of the best shows on TV. I hoped this show would be that, but I can't get back into it. Same goes for Boardwalk Empire.

First season of Boardwalk Empire was ufcking brilliant. When they killed that kid, it ruined the series.

I absolutely loved Westworld. One if the better HBO shows in recent memory.

I do netflix, Amazon, sling tv and antenna. Its about all i can watch and i don't miss out on amything that i care enough to watch.

I live in the bottom of a bowl and way away from the local antennas but i put a good antenna in my attic and still get 29 channels that are very clear.

I can't say enough good about Altered Carbon...this is truly one of the better sci-fi series to debut in the last decade.

Lately, I've been watching everything that the Mighty Car Mods guys put out on Youtube, including Skid Factory and Unicorn Circuit in addition to the regular MCM episodes. I watch Roadkill and Dirt Every Day on Youtube as well, including all the Extras, and Finnegan's Garage.
Then there's a guy on Youtube you have to watch. His channel is AVE, and he is a smart cookie, as well as damn funny. I learn a ton of stuff from good ol Uncle BF.

Oh, and I also give Backyard Scientist and Hoonigan a look when they post new stuff (also on Youtube).

The wife and I are currently rewatching the original Swedish production of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy on Netflix. If you can pay attention to a film with subtitles, it's a fantastically good drama.

Archer is always worth a rewatch, as are Top Gear and the Grand Tour.

The Americans by FX is on Amazon Prime. I dig the Reagan era Cold War intrigue. Great show, great writing and acting, and super awesome to see that someone somewhere has kept up all these 70's and 80's American cars, tech, and fashion for use in a TV/film production.

And lastly, I need to recommend The Man in the High Castle on Amazon Prime. One of my favorite shows ever.

Rewatching TNG. Can't get interested in anything else right now. I've watched some of The Witcher and it's good, but not what I'm up for every night at the moment.

Speed round, since last summer-ish... and go!

Show: Snatch
Platform: Crackle
Rating: could be better, but for a (probably) low budget show on a free platform pretty good actually. I always liked the British gangster type shiat.

Show: Odyssey Five
Platform: Crackle
Rating: Really got into this one. Reminded me of Star TrekVoyager/Enterprise and Quantum leap. It’s an older Canadian show that unfortunately was cancelled after a couple seasons.

Show: Spy
Platform: Netflix
Rating: ufcking great. Based on a true story apparently.

Show: Westworld
Platform: HBO/go/now/whatever hbo you have
Rating: It was hard for me to get into season one at first. But once I did omg, ufck yeah. Season two kept the momentum, so far season three has been a little harder to get back into. I have faith it will pick up though.

Show: The Company
Platform: Crackle
Rating: This was a CIA Cold War to present-ish miniseries, from like 2007. I enjoyed it, but long episodes were not the best fit for watching late at night after a few drinks.

Show: The Punisher
Platform: Netflix
Rating: Disney will be stupid if they don’t bring this back. (Season 3 was cancelled along with most marvel stuff Netflix had licensed)

Show: Rob Riggles Ski Academy
Platform: Crackle
Rating: Pretty dumb humor, funny at times

Show: Toast of London
Platform: Netflix, maybe IFC, probably some iteration of BBC
Rating: If you like Matt Berry (The Mighty Boosh, Snuff Box, The IT Crowd) this is a good one for you.

Show: Outlander
Platform: Netflix (or I think starz for current season)
Rating: I went through a couple seasons hoping it would get better. Lost hope. It could’ve been good but wasn’t.

Show: Rome
Platform: HBO/whatever
Rating: this was a re-watch because it’s ufcking awesome and it had been like 8-10 years since I watched it. Highly recommend.

Show: The Witcher
Platform: Netflix
Rating: Pending - Seemed good but didn’t get too far into it. Will revisit.

Show: Curb Your Enthusiasm
Platform: HBO/whatever
Rating: If you like the humor it’s hella funny. If you don’t, you’ll think it’s dumb.

Show: Year of the Rabbit
Platform: IFC (I think), probably some iteration of BBC
Rating: This is another Matt Berry one, so pretty funny if that’s what you’re into.

Show: Altered Carbon
Platform: Netflix
Rating: Season one rocked my shiat. Season two was good, but not as good as season one.

I’m pretty sure I’m missing a couple shows I blasted through, and definitely missing a couple or more shows I tried and passed on.

Watched R.I.P.D. Last night for the first time, was released in 13 ? Ryan Renold's and Jeff Bridge's , a few slow spot's, so some American Honey shot's helped but a morbidly funny idea for a movie ;) Mostly Comedy with a chic flic love theme. Worth the time considering how the cable companies are throwing a lot of the same $hit down our throat's !! So when is the last time it wasn't a Harry Potter weekend on at least 1 channel ????????????????????????????????? Now it's Hunger Games day. At least Jennifer is easy on the eye's :D

Wife and I watched The Rookie. Caught up to current. If you like Nathan Fillion it's a solid watch. Won't have any re-watch value, but for one run, it's fun.

I like Nathan Fillion , he has kept me/us entertained in Castle and continue's to keep me entertained in Firefly [got the DVD set] The Rookie , I just never got into it but down the road who know's ?? Don't ask why but I usually wait a while to start watching TV series, like when there near their end  Have you ever seen C.H.U.D. Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller , I haven't in probably 20+ year's . It made you double think about doing any caving/spelunking after it first came out:cool: I'll check out Westworld .

Just finished The Gentlemen. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Only complaint is that it’s somewhat formulaic. Which I understand because Guy Ritchie’s top movies are Lock, Stop, and Two Smoking Barrels (platinum standard) and Snatch (gold standard), and the movies between those and The Gentlemen didn’t stand up, so it’s natural to try to replicate something more successful. To be fair I think if he didn’t remake Swept Away, and Revolver was more in line with his typical British gangster template I would only be stoked on this one. That negative variance made me want him to do better where I would be content with slightly lesser gangster films otherwise.

A month or two, or three ago, decided to ball out and buy Frisky Dingo and Sealab 2021 on iTunes. So re-watching Frisky Dingo (3rd time?) for the first time in probably 12 years. Fun fact, season 1 was the same year (2006) as my X was born.

I may have been under an influence - this is nowhere near as good as I remembered it.
