I've seen one of those running around Colorado Springs. Whether or not it was an aftermarket conversion or factory I have no idea, but it sure looked good. ;)

I've seen a few Quigley conversions. It still seems strange that Nissan never did that from the factory.
I don't think that from the git-go Nissan was really serious about off road vehicles. I remember when the hot thing was the 240Z, and it seems to me that the majority of their advertising has been aimed at the "go-fast" guys.

True story. And then they did the 720 which was direct competition to the Hilux (or just the Toyota pickup, since it didn't have a name in this country).

Maybe Imma drive down there and see one.. I wonder if they regear the 6" lift for the 35's.
