Where are you trying to put them?
I did led bulbs on my rig a 2003. But I went through a couple sets finding that getting lock ring on to be very difficult. I finally came to a conclusion to secure them. As there is a o ring to keep them well seated and sealed. The key was to keep them pressed in place. So I used .032 safety wire to do this. They have been in for more than a year with zero issues.
