so yet another hiatus, I succeeded in getting my cdl :) soooo its a start lol, it also means my spare time can be dedicated to fun stuff again.

Need to order those rotor bolts, idler arm brace, hd tie rods, lugnuts for my yota wheels, and do the pml, replace the leaf spring, do the front brakes (check the rears) replace the power steering reservoir, get it aligned, get the windshield replaced, headliner replaced, and have it cleaned and drive it.

So I have a question :/
I bought a rear leaf spring from a 00 but I think I saw online that it won't fit my 02, this true?

You Ferd boys are weird.... Why settle for 302 when the 351W is out there? Either way, LS is superior swap fodder, cause, ya know, Chevy..... ;)
Because the 351 is a lot taller and I feel like deck/intake height might be a concern.

Also, blah LS blah de blah

The Ford Windsor is an engine that I know inside and out. I've never touched a Chebby v8. And I enjoy ice skating up hill.

so my replacement spring had 3 leafs plus a helper but fit, so I put that on, my bilsteins, and the rear wheels/tires, I'll do the fronts next weekend off when I get the tool for the spindle nut (I do shiat by the book)

The flight of the platypus
So this weekend I crashed my only a few months new to me f350 :( I had a diabetic black out due to a change in meds, truck should be covered, and with any luck its just an expensive lesson (nobody was involved but me and I have insurance/gap if they do total it) But I had to have something to drive so I made haste and got a ride back to the family truck farm and hastily put the x back together and threw insurance on it. Still far from finished, need to put a different rear bumper on, tires rub ever so slightly at full tilt while reversing?, but she made the 150 mile trip without a hiccup despite having a cel and abs light on

well, they totaled out my super duty, and in my need to have a reliable daily driver, wound up with a brand new f150 for a little less than the powerstroke ($20 a month more payment, $120 a month cheaper insurance), 21 5.0 stx 4x2 in space white metallic (I think)

as for the x, I haven't done much since I drove it up here, it has a cel, needs a windshield and a few other minor things, I did take it to have the leaky tire patched and they said it had a hole in the sidewall but I put water on it myself and couldn't get it to bubble?
anyway, the x needs off road bumpers pretty bad too, since its smashed

Replaced power steering reservoir and the hose clamps at the reservoir, but looked down and more of the cheesy bitches down lower too where it meets the pump, see if my leaks fixed I guess.
Ordered an obdII scanner off amazon that was on black friday special, see what my cel is about, although I'm worried its gonna say knock sensor:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

So I pulled the codes
From ABS Side:
C1111-Pump Motor
Guessing they're boosted off the power steering and low power steering pressure? I did just replace the hoses and what not and it was definitely dry on a couple of starts?
C1113-G Sensor
Wheel sensor? Any idea which one?
Engine Side:
P0051- Ho2s heater control circuit low bank 2 sensor 1
O2 sensor gone bad?
P0328- Knock Sensor 1 circuit high bank 1 or single sensor
Knock sensor gone bad? Time to do the maxima relocation?

Any input/confirmation would be greatly appreciated

Ordered o2 sensors, and the stuff to relocate the knock sensor.
I gues I need to replace the G sensor, no idea on the c1111-pump motor

More bumper work wasn't happy with the way coastals reciever tube would line up so went to tractor supply and bought one to modify to make work "better" (as in hitch pin will actually be accessible

also, my 265/70R16's rub at turn on occassion and I was gonna buy some wheel spacers but thats a bad word, so as ugly as the stock wheels were to me, they'll probably go back on

Ordered:
Rigid 360 4" driving lights and required harnesses
1.25 Hubcentric wheel spacers (I really hate the stock x wheels)

why so many chicken lights? well I'm a truck driver, and this is a shiatbox nissan not a busted ass peterbilt

My 6" rigid 360's showed up :) they are the spot instead of driving pattern, but between them and the flood lamps on the front, in case the unthinkable happens, I should be ok, also, don't flash your high beams at me, you'll lose

and all related wiring, and my new rear bumper caps since the old ones were messed up from this thing being rear ended like 3 times in its life, and since ppi doesn't make the cool metal ones with the built in beer holder anymore

and a quick list of things to do
AC idler arm brace and hd tie rods
Order shrockworks sliders
new headlights and grill
air lockers (big oof)
have headliner fixed
new windshield
replace o2 sensors
register it
do it for dale

Kinda thinking I may not do a pml, if its got good clearance with the coastal bumpers I very well may say I'm not dealing with possible alignment issues

I'm 31 and I've been wheeling since I was 15 more or less, built one ifs truck (89 Isuzu amigo) and in my experience, which is far from I'm a trail gobble but I'm not a new guy putting skinny tires on daddys wrangler, the only real way to make it "capable" for what I want to do is at least one locker, usually I just do a lunch box locker in the rear and call it good, but in the case of the nissan, this isn't available (which I find really odd) so air lockers it is. Kind of a must have imo. Lockers before a bunch of stupid rigid lights, or do what I do because it made sense when you were drinking and looking at amazon at 3 am
