Hello everyone

Hey all, thanks for having this awesome forum. I have so many questions that I would love the answers for. From people who actually know what they are talking about since it seems that there are not many out there who do unless they own or have worked on a lifted 02 Xterra supercharged 4x4. I won't start here thought. Just wanted to say hello from California way up in the mountains off grid......not a city person.....my truck wouldn't fit in there either.Adobe_Post_20201213_2358500.6541801589291868.png

The Wilds of Texas? Curious where that may be. I lived out in Hill Country for a time......
Oh just a figure of speech. I live north of the Dallas Metroplex. But i hike and camp all over Texas.

The hill country is hands down the best area in Texas IMO, and i spend as much time there as I can.

Welcome from Virginia!
Hey thanks! Your truck or at least your profile pic looks like you might be the right person to ask. I have a lifted first gen 6 inch both body and suspension lifts. I used to have sway bars front and back but removed those and find it to be a lot more comfortable to drive on the bumpy, rocky dirt roads I have to drive up to get to and from my home. I have these stupid Rancho shocks on my truck that no matter what I do they are just too stiff for my truck. It seems all shocks that fit my truck are more or less designed for larger, heavier trucks. So, my question is what kind; brand, model shocks would you recommend to have a much smoother ride that does not beat the holy hell out of my truck? I have had enough with these shocks. I have already gone through 2 center links in less than a year.

right on, I used to live in east bay. Vallejo for some time.
Nice - my cousin grew up in Benicia so we used to go to the movie theater in Vallejo when I visited him as a kid. Also Target, Costco, and I think Rasputin was over there as well.

Well, I'm running Radflo shocks all around but I've upped my spring rates quite a bit.

I'm not as familiar with 1st Gen Xs but I think the Bilstein 5100 is what most folks run.

@Prime would probably have better recommendations.
