Now, I just need to change my rack again, fix the diff leak and change the oil. She's been sitting for almost 2 months. I miss her.

Truck started sounding like a coffee percolator while we were in TN. Found my fan pulley bearing was shot. Thankfully @jsexton happened to have a spare, so we swapped it in the campground.
Luckily it didn't let loose and through my radiator.

I ordered a new oem bracket and tensioner, got that installed today. Hope to not have to do that again any time soon.

Well, that was a pain in the ass. Stupid half shaft bolt rounded out. Tried welding a new nut on top, nope. Tried extractor socket, nope.

Wound up pulling the whole stub shaft out and working with it on the bench.

Used an angle grinder to take the head off the bolt and finally got the bolt out.

Battle the intermittent rain and got my Ironman4x4 leaf springs installed today. Removed the dirt plow overload and added an extra leaf because I knew I needed more than 2" of lift out of them.

Sitting significantly higher than my worn out alcans, we'll see how it settles in. Right now, she rides like a dream, even unloaded in the rear. I do have a 35 hanging off the back though.

For reference, there was only about 2" of shock shaft showing before.

Also hosed out my frame while everything was apart. Gross.

The new springs look great! Looks like your Alcans lasted about 5 years— I guess I would have expected a longer run. What made you decide to go with the Ironmans?
I didn't have the alcans built properly from the jump. I didn't have them build for the proper weight. I rebuilt them once with extra leafs, but they were just beat at this point. Plus they got a lot of abuse from hard wheeling once a month or so.

I went ironman for a few reasons. 1) Couldn't beat the price, especially with the memorial day sale. 2) in stock, no lead time. Alcans would have been $800+ and 6-8 week lead time.
