Not sure what to think of the new 9-speed automatic transmission. New transmissions can be tricky beasts and it is not just Nissan that has experienced difficulties with 'new' transmissions.
Not mentioned in the blog is the fact that this engine will be a GDI engine, not an MPI engine as found on the 1st and 2nd generation Xterras and most earlier Frontier models.
GDI engines require more pro-active maintenance such as shorter oil change intervals. But if it is more fuel efficient and still powerful, could be attractive.
GDI = gasoline direct injection
MPI = multi-port injection

Nissan's trans issues seem to be focalized around their CVT transmissions and heat control issues.. Somehow that's one of the things Toyota has gotten right thanks to the Prius on their behalf.

No worries, I can only get in on the work computers myself with that. Totally get it.
No personal FB or Twatter, Just got rid of [mostly] the gmail account, don't particularly need/want a discuss account.. Yupp, We tent to ride more towards the side of privacy usually here.
Even Social media is about to change. FB not doing well, taking IG right along with it. Whatsapp people are also leaving it and Hangouts in droves. Apple has been threatening all of them including Google/Our-tube [It aint yours, lol] it may not include them on the final release of the iPhone 13 because of privacy issues.
I'd say you got to be really irritating someone at Apple if you're one of the bigger boys on the financial block of companies and Apple is telling you to go pound some sand. lol
