You want to be the guinea pig for these?

The company is new but seems to be gaining traction and is getting good customer service reviews, but they don't have much for reviews on products.
I just received the Broverland leaf packs. Waiting on a front eye bolt next week. Will try to report back on the set up.
I ordered the complete Alldogs off-road kit with their medium coil springs up front and the 5100 bilsteins all around

Did you get any lift in the coils or leaves?

I forgot to measure the front before install. I can say the front feels and looks higher. It just is, but I don’t know how much. I’ll try to remember to let ya know on the back when I get the leaf packs in next week

I did the ADO front springs with 5100s at stock height and got about 2" initially and it settled to about 1¾" after about a month and stayed there so far.

I think if CHUG put his mind to it he could make some sort of sunscreen lotion out of Screwball and Grand Mariner so your liver don't get sun burnt over there ;) Just thinking out loud again !

Did you get the 2" lift coils or are you using a spacer? I've got the ADO 2" lift coils so I didn't have to use the coil spacers and got right at 2" out of them. They've been on about 4 months now. I haven't measured again but they don't seem to have settled much if any. What specs did you get on the Alcans?

I got the Alldogs offroad 2” lift coils.
In the back I went with their budget Broverland leaf packs that are supposed to maintain 2” lift at 400lb constant load. I don’t know anything about Alcans

Yea, that's what I meant, ADO not Alcan. I'm curious about the leaves. I'll be following you. I really dig the ADO front 2" lift coils so far altho the 5100's even at 0 lift have way more rebound than the 4600s. Kinda violent at high speed but no handling change..

So, I have COVID. Have been at home for 11 days. Stocked the house in advance before my test came back, glad i did. Managed to catch up on all my shows (fck that last season of Scrubs btw) clean out my closets and do a buncha small stuff. Thats all kept me from going nuts. But barely.

Monday will be 14 days since exposure. I only had fever one day; Friday the 4th. Climbed to 100.3 and stopped. Nothing since. Have checked three times daily, nothing. Hasn't been terrible, some coughing, mostly a headache and I cant taste food. I mean I can, but its horribly muted. Like you know you are eating ranch, but its like a fuzzy out of focus TV ranch flavor. Which kinda pisses me off. I can seem to taste Popsicles. So ive eaten like a hundred.

My brother came in from NYC and I cant see him because quarantine. Which REALLY blows.

This is bizarre. I don't have fever, sore throat, stomach issues, anything. If it wasn't for the fact that i get so tired so easy, and my head wont stop intermittently hurting, (almost like a vertigo thing) I honestly wouldn't feel like i was sick at all. Been napping, drinking tons of water mostly. Letting the body do what it does best. No major breathing issues, anything. I wonder if its because im fairly young (okay not that young really) and fairly healthy. I ride my bike 13-15 miles three times or more a week and go to the gym daily. Or did before this.

Eligible to return to work after 10 days, as long as its been three days since fever (check) and symptoms have drastically improved (check). Thats about Tuesday/Wednesday for me. And im ready. I was super careful before, but I have since decided that I will be HYPER vigilant going forward. I dont care if i can get it again or not. I dont wish it on anyone. At all.

Attempted visitors to the house:
  • Jehovahs Witnesses - 2
  • Census workers - 4 (one, four times they are ufckin relentless)
  • Kids peddling things - 2
  • Neighbors checking to see if i was dead in here - 1

Not dead. Just felt like it for a bit.

FYI: Museniex NightShift is GOLD. That stuff has helped me breathe and sleep through the night solidly.

Awesome, yea I’ll let ya know how it goes with this set up. My 4600’s had 140k miles on them, so anything would feel better than those. I’ve only driven to work a few times on the 4 news shocks, front ADO coil springs, and original leaf springs still. Nothing off-road yet.

I originally ordered the ADO performance leaf springs, and then they came out with the Broverlands. I switched to the Bro’s after being recommended the option from Chad or Steve, can’t remember.

the Bro’s are more for hauling heavier gear, like camping trips, daily driving, weekend warrior stuff. Basically good ride qualities with 2” lift and able to handle a packed up truck.

the performance packs come in light/med/heavy and were recommended if you want a lot of articulation in the back. Rock crawling and whatnot.

I took the cheaper option in the Bro’s as I just like to hunt/fish/ explore with the wife and dog and gear packed up.

Not saying I want to catch it but man I would kill for the time off. It takes a shiatlaod for me to technically to be running a fever the last time I took my temperature (on Friday) it was 96.7 and I left work because I was feeling like shiat.

Glad you came out of it unscathed some people it really kicks their ass. They say that the effects lasts for months after they get over it.

At leat my kids are not doing e-learning and this year the schools in my area are giving all the students free breakfasts and lunches.
Yup. Mine are back in person for now. Hope it keeps up but not counting on it. That's definitely me and the wife when we think about e-learning/home schooling.

An old man, near retirement said to me once "don't wish your life away, it'll be gone before you know it."

I know things are rough all around but fellas, I don't think it gets any better. It'll always be something broken, some panic, some social battle, some bill you weren't expecting.

I try to keep that in mind and stay as positive as I can manage. Some days that doesn't work, but most days are good...

I'm off today, gonna clean up around the house. Maybe tomorrow I'll get to go do something fun.

I just finished a cross-country Trek. Drove out to Cali and visited a number of National Park areas along the way.
My next trip, coming up in a few weeks is to Huntsville, AL - to help a friend move.
Then to the Smoky mountains in KY, because I've heard good things.
I have a National Park Passsport book and an annual-pass, so I plan on getting stamps at every location listed in the book, and pictures in front of all the park entrance signs..

We have this one life to live.
Make a difference when and where you can.
Enjoy every minute of the time you have, as best as possible.
That's why we're here, after all, on this communal site: To revel in road trips and utilize our xTerras for the purpose for which they were built - trekking!!!

Stay strong and in good health and take a road trip!!

If you pass through Little Rock, Arkansas, let me know and we can trek together, or grab a beer. Cheers!
