Hey all,
If anyone is around, we have at least two Xterras headed up Peter's Mill Run in George Washington National Forest.
Plan is to meet at the 7-11 in Woodstock, VA at 5pm next Thursday (8/6/2020), then do the run from Edinburgh Gap and exit out the north end.
More info: there is a $5 day use trail pass (or $30 annual pass) you'll need to get at the 7-11. Meet at 5pm there, then drive about 15 minutes to the Edinburgh Gap entrance to air down and start the trail. Last time we did a 5pm meet we exited the trail at 8:20pm. We stopped a few times for pictures/videos and probably will this time. We go slow, because for at least a couple of us the X is our daily driver and we can't be beating it up too bad.
Please bring a mask for when we're out of the vehicles if in close proximity. Please also be aware that it seems Woodstock is firmly anti-mask territory, and despite all the signs and the current law, the patrons and employees of the 7-11 clearly don't care. If you're at high risk, one of us already going in can grab a pass for you if you'd like.
As of August 3, noon: 6 total confirmed. 5 Xterras, 1 WRX
